  1. Dang that's a Bummer oneshot
  2. Ok I have to agree but on Medicare I'm getting a Pre Existing Condition taken care of that I've had all my life. There is no way I could pay for care myself and like my Doctor said with out this care I would be dead,I still could drop over dead anyway any time just less likely. Considering I can no longer work with this Condition even though I did for years I could see how some could consider me worthless and just let die.But yea I'm glad this is not happening at this time. oneshot
  3. Yelp I never worry about it.One time had some people try to steal my Camp Wood in middle of the night.Run them off. Parked along Lamine River had some Kids pull my Plug Wires throw them in the river, lucky I seen the wires. oneshot
  4. Ok yes it has helped the Turkeys but I believe it is going to hurt the Deer with Blue Tongue. As far as seeing more Deer there is no browse in the Timber pushing them along the Roads,Yards and Bean Fields. oneshot
  5. Yea I went yesterday and fought Moss, worse I've ever seen it.Caught two. oneshot
  6. I haven't fished the Niangua once this year, got New Fly Rod and all just living so far from the river and closer to Truman Lake just haven't went, got a notion to load the Pickup up and go Camp at Lead Mine. oneshot
  7. Sounds to like someone don't want to let lose of some money. You know if I was to win this money with less of a fish than this there is no way I would keep it.But that's just me. oneshot
  8. Heck don't worry about Gigging Season, before it opens just go with Bow. I need to get some Bass in the Freezer to Bake up.Need to pull some Sft Baits and Spinners. oneshot

  11. Ok I was Baptized in the Niangua River below Bennett Spring.Because we lived next to the river for so long and I spent so much time there enjoying it we decided when I die to have me cremated, have a Big Party and throw my ashes in the river. We now live by Truman Lake and my wife is thinking it might be better on the Lake. I'm thinking long as plans can be for the river go with that. Thoughts? oneshot
  12. My Granddaughter has been with her Dad all her 3 years of Life on the Niangua River, has always wore her PFD. Today at the Pool she decided to get rid of PFD and swim. She did GREAT was swimming from the Ladder to the Rope back and forth until she just got too tired. I called her a River Rat,she said no she is a River Bunny, much cuter. Blond Hair, name of Ivy Joe Lee,spends Summers on the river and not afraid of anything. Her Dad is going to have his Hands full. oneshot
  13. The Heat, from what I seen river floating has been Great. Not sure on things in the Park. oneshot

  16. I made some Floats using Pool Noodles, cut off 4-5 inches, run Coffee Stirer crosswise through it,Glue it,use Regular Bobber Stop with Large Bead. oneshot
  17. Ok truth I have a Small Boat I can use on the Niangua, but have to pull it over the riffles. Not fun when Temps are down around Zero.So I have a 1852 cost me $1,500 to put Jet Drive on it,really too Big for the Niangua but Pomme de Terre below my place I could run it with no problems and not have to get out and pull it over the riffles. So talk me out of thinking of doing this. ???? oneshot
  18. Its only about 7 miles. The River is Very Low right now. oneshot

  21. Been messing with my Big Boat, first it wasn't getting Gas in Top Carburetor.Got it cleaned out and was running fine. Well it got to where it wasn't running right, would run fine, let off the throttle,it would only seem to be getting Half Gas. We got to looking Cover had came lose over Carburetor, found one Bolt under the engine, figured we lost the rest either on the ground or in the Lake, replaced and used Lock Tight. Today decided to tear down Top Carburetor, screw was lose on the Float.Ok make sure it's tight.Start Motor up where we could see Carburetors.Bottom Carburetor is blowing Gas.Ok figured needed to tear it down. Pull Carburetor off, look on up in there.DANG! There is my five Bolts, get magnet, pull them out,put Carburetor back.Seems to be running fine. Take it to the Lake.Seems to run much better if Bolts are in the right place.Just Lucky they didn't do any damage. oneshot
  22. Ok took the Boat out it ran just fine until I let off the Throttle and turned around to go back to the Ramp. Then it would only run half open.I stopped rived it up,throwed it in Gear run fine until I slowed down.I'm thinking need to put Carburetor Kits in. oneshot
