Mike - when you start bringing accurate data to a key board conversation its a real buzz kill! How do you expect us to continue making plans far beyond our ability to make anything happen!! C4F
-
By the way - I have blamed all of my interweb fishing purchases this weekend on you .....I told Mrs. C4F that I had to keep up with the Quills or I might be "ostersized" from the group and socially shamed and my internet friends would not talk to me anymore.... She didn't buy it! What she did buy was a couple of pair of shoes to off set my stuff!! The issue is you couldn't wear the darn things on the boat - so they really have no value! C4F
-
I knew the voice of reason would appear sooner or later!! Thanks Mike C4F

Ummmm - sure

Absolutely - sometimes it is called common sense Just pay attention to your surroundings!

And it is 15.8 ft above normal pool....wow.... I have a friend that works for the Corp. out of Kansas City - after the last flooding event both on the MO river and on TR I talked to him about how they make decisions...he did say there was a "book" or master plan that is supposed to be followed. Between major rain events I am sure that there are many more green spaces turned into parking lots and buildings being built that need to have water run off when before there was a chance for the ground to soak it up. Frankly when I look at the chain of lakes, Beaver to Norfolk and given the water shed acres I am not sure how you would ever get it "right" C4F

Drone footage of Indian Point Marina & Kimberling Bridge
crazy4fishin replied to Ben Gillispie's topic in Table Rock Lake
Those are some great shots...I noticed on the top one that there appeared to be a couple of Bass boats puttering around.....was that white one tucked in behind the dock? And to think just a month or so ago the board was commenting about how low the water was.....amazing what can happen in just a few hours.... it would be cool to take the drone along Taney and the dam....but not cool for those folks down stream C4F -
Quill...what the heck is wrong with you!! rainey, windy and cold with nothing more to do except search the interweb for stuff and you tempt us with fishing sales of all things!!
-
Ketchup is right....there are many places to launch and just fish the cove that you may be in or close....the other thing you could do is fish Taney! Above Coopers I bet the trout are starting to eat with the flood gates open Or you could go down lake and fish for bass down by powersite....that is also a nice boat ride....and like Ketchup said you could go a bit north C4F
-
Quill - I thought that you might have been mistaken....I watched the live weigh in....at work...of course I was on break and I see today that KVD is currently in 4th - unofficially With all of the rain that you guys are predicted to get it would be a good day to watch the tourney on live. C4F
-
It was a great time....you guys really know how to throw a hoot - n - anny..... And Carl - you are far to modest...I took care of the story telling for you in another thread! C4F
-
Yep - it was a great time....and Carl did use the Ned....if I understood correctly, for the first time! They grow up so fast!!! From what I remember he was telling us that he ran from the front of the boat to the back of the boat playing the GGGGGG iant and finally wore him out a bit then laid on the deck of his boat and snatched the "swamp donkey" from its watery home.....or something like that....that Carl is quite the story teller He had us all on the edge of our seats wondering how it would end!! By the way Dave - - I did find out that one of our group has never used the Ned...I wont say his name out loud.....but he has a number in front of champ ....I am not sure how that got missed on the admittance paperwork..... Thanks to everyone that helped set up, tear down, eat and fish, it was good to put a face to the name/ screen name...and we sure missed those of you who didn't get a chance to join us....the weather was a bit iffy at first but it really improved by the time we got off the water. That is to bad to hear Hunt & Dblade - - was looking forward to meeting you both.....hunt - - maybe I have a chance to win that participation trophy since you are not bringing down your ringer c4f -
You guys will have some serious courses in the area! I may have to start bringing my clubs when I come down - it will be interesting to see what kind of layout he comes up with. I sure hope they have "forward tees" though.....for those days that I am not feeling it
-
Dave - successful post!! I bet you are giggling like a little school girl as I am sure you knew some of the responses you would get One of my kids used to do this all of the time....she would start the conversation " I am not really telling but" C4F

Isn't that the AFLAC ducks GF?
-
I know right!! I wouldn't want a Ranger sticker touching my Nitro sticker!!!! It might get rooties (Ranger cooties) Then again....cant we all just get along!? C4F
-
I use these and just used them when I was just down there....I like the way they come through the water...evidently more than the fish as i only caught one on that rig. Must have been a bad underspin! I am sure it was not the fisherman! C4F
-
Champ it just hit me - you and Donna aren't pre - fishing the OA tourney are you? Given the high stakes I can see how you would be tempted.... I am sure that might fall into a DQ....we may have to review the rules....the penalties may be stiff.....we will let you bring the food of course .... but you may not be eligible for the participation trophy!! Nor the secret super prize

Sometimes we just have to tap the brakes and give thanks for the true blessings and the mercies that we have been given as a result of the greatest sacrifice. I am more blessed than I deserve and thankful for the grace that is bestowed upon me - if it were not for those two things I am not sure where I would be in this crazy world. Happy Easter everyone C4F

Sonar Advice/Reviews Needed: Lowrance, Raymarine, HB??
crazy4fishin replied to bferg's topic in Table Rock Lake
I have a few questons on this to good to be true offer... What about tech support after the sale - is it 24 hour - speak english? Maybe that online pop up that asks "may I help you" Can I pick this up at the Seen on TV store? The picture of Bo at night or in the daylight? -
You guys are right about Wild Kingdom...especially since we live in the state of the company that sponsored the show! .....our family would turn that on and us kids would sit wand watch it in awe......then the next day we would play outside with the "animals" cant tell you how many snakes we picked up / picked on and scared other people with...especially Sister / Mom....from small lawn ones to bull snakes. BTW I am green with envy that you were able to get out and get some fishing action.....looks like a good day for sure BTW Duck looks like the same one that I fed last November in the cove by the chalet! He had a girlfriend with him then. He was fairly persistant that I share my sandwich. C4F

O yeah - Fireman bill was the best.....I wasted many hours watching that show the TW bite should be starting here soon. So I have a question - what is everyone's favorite TW lure? I really like the plopper and I have bought the plopper with the two little ones that I have not thrown yet. C4F
-
Carl - thanks for the report...like some TW action that is for sure....gets the 'ole heart a pumpin!! Were you using the plopper? Vern - quick side note....I don't think that anyone uses "homey dont" phrase anymore - at least in this decade C4F
