  1. As much as I like the phantom colors, I really think the natural brown craw and the V210 have put the most and bigger fish in my boat.
  2. I'm pretty sure they have quit letting the public use that ramp.
  3. I guess I'm still willing, as long as the high is above 32. Heading out now for a worthless pre fishing trip.
  4. You may need some tie downs for the canopies, also forecasting some healthy winds. I can bring a few stick of firewood.
  5. With the current forecast , wood for a bonfire might not be a bad idea.
  6. I still think a properly threaded "old school" shakey head, has a much better fall than the newer spring-type heads. Sometimes makes a difference.
  7. I'll can bring some cold drinks and some brats also.
  8. I've always found Pete to be a straight shooter, regardless of the circumstances. Besides I ran into him pre-fishing last week.
  9. I have both Texas Tackle and Zuron pliers, the Texas Tackle pliers now get very little use.
  10. I'm pretty sure Texas only stocks Florida/Florida Hydrids strains, that won't make a nickels worth of difference in Table Rock.
  11. As good a report for a fisherman as I've seen. I'd love to have a report that well written before any fishing trip.
  12. You're welcome in my boat, as long as you don't mind being lead by the clueless.
  13. If you are interested in Basscats, check Bills Marine in Monett.
  14. I'd look at a model targeted more to the walleye or multi-species segment for a stable V bottom fishing boat.
  15. I'm a big fan of snowmobile suits, been using one for at least 20 years, I originally got to hunt in. . I can never get the layers right, always still cold or sweating and always restricted in movement. My suit works from any temp I'm gonna fish/run the boat in up to about 50 degrees then it starts getting too warm. Add a good head covering and boots and I'm very comfortable.
  16. I'll try to make this one, missed last years. Fished the first one with SacRiverJim.
  17. 've been using my Curado B5 for so long I can't imagine using anything else for the wart. I think a slower reel has more sensitivity and I can only remember ONE time that I lost a fish that ran at me. I use the same reel for square bills.
  18. No wonder I was unaware of them, seems most here are also.
  19. Anyone fish or have any input on the Kings River Marina fishing tournaments? Just noticed them on the MO regatta permit site.
  20. I think I saw you coming out of Mill Creek Saturday afternoon, I was throwing the whopper plopper from the pontoon boat. Congrats to the little guy.
  21. I think a string of three might be the ticket.
  22. NO . What's your schedule next week?
  23. This has to be the strangest thread I've read on this site. I have a nephew that has been on his college fishing team for the last few years. He has been very successful, fished both the FLW and the BASS College national championships, with not a thought of becoming an Elite angler. I've had several high school anglers in my boat when Republic had there summer school fishing class, I had as good or a better time than they did when we fished together. Good luck with the team.
  24. You can manually add any data, ie depth, speed, temp, you want to each screen. I like depth and temp on my sonar screens, fuel remaining and speed on most of my chart pages. You are looking for the "overlay data" in the manual, easy to do once you try it a few times.
