Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Much to be thankful for.

Saw Kansas play O State a few weeks ago in Stillwater. Hate to say it but I think KU has the worst football team since the Big 12 was formed. Just pathetic. Lucky basketball season is here.

Rented a slip many times at the at Bent Hook Marina at Big Cedar and never had any problems. Hook ups to charge batteries, well lit and convenient while staying there.

I fished a Central Pro-Am years ago on Bull Shoals and drew Robbie Dodson. I believe it was early December if I remember correctly and we had good weather. We were fishing the Peel area chasing wind in creek pockets. Robbie absoulutely tore them up on a V38 and was fishing the crankbait very fast banging the bait off the bottom on chunk rock. He was also throwing a double willow leaf spinnerbait that had a brown and gold looking skirt with a treble trailer hook. Skirt colors were similar to the color of the v38. A god awful looking spinnerbait but he was catching the fire out of them on it as well. Again, reeling the bait very fast drawing reaction strikes. I didn't even have that color wiggle wart but learned a lesson on the V38 and have been fishing them ever since. I might see if Tim Hughes can paint a Rock Crawler to look like a V38.

I have had mine for a few years and it is time to re-arm the inflator cylinder. I have watched a couple of YouTube videos on replacing the cylinder. Thought I would get some feedback from those that have done this and any tips you can pass on. Thanks for the feedback.

Alright Champ, since my Cowboys can barely make a first down much less a bowl this year. I'll take the Hogs for their third win in a row. Hate that the Tigers, A&M and Nebraska left the Big 12. I don't miss Colorado, they can go out west and get beat. Go Hogs!

Tim does a darn fine job of custom painting lures for people who want them, and at a very fair price. He also helps develop stock colors for lure companies to be sold off the shelves. He does not openly advertise nor solicit business from forum members. I, for one, don't appreciate you suggesting that people not use his services. Again, it's not your concern how the rest of us spend our money. X2. Jerry, just a suggestion. You spend your money the way you choose and don't worry about the way others choose to spend theirs.

I really like the WEC balsa E1 & E2 balsa squarebills. . I just don't like the price but they are fish catchers.
