Thanks for the report, cheesemaster. Donna and I are going tomorrow. I have a feeling we will find them as scattered as everyone else is reporting. Look forward to getting out on the water, though. It's time for some fall fishing.

Look forward to seeing what I can find. Imagine they are pretty scattered, as are the baitfish. Good thing about our lake is there are always some deep, always some shallow and always some in between.

When water temps are 50 and above, there are lots of ways to catch em other than a spoon. Just sayin.

I would take it to Ulrich Marine in Branson West and let them give you an honest assessment. They are straight shooters and will get you fixed as reasonably as anyone.

So we have a 10-page thread kicking around every possible way to do away with boats too big for Table Rock but it's cool that KVD and Evers are riding in one of those very boats? Guess we have our answer about what Johnny can do to help the fishermen getting rocked by these jumbo wave makers.

Clouds are always good. Wind is always good no matter the direction. If you let the ideal conditions become too ingrained, you won't be out there to take advantage of the days they bite great when they "weren't supposed to."

I worked and then got in 11 holes of golf this evening with my bestest golfin/fishin bud. Hard to beat a day like that.
