  1. I never said he was wrong, just ignorant. And if somebody would have pulled the trigger then this would be a whole different ballgame. Besides, HE DID NOTHING, he did not stop the robbery. He did not catch the criminals. He just wanted to be the hero. Good thing he has an audience to applaud him so we can get more armed citizens involved. There was a guy here is Springfield or someplace close a couple of weeks ago that saw a person going through his vehicle. He immediately runs outside and starts shoot. Yeah he got the guy and the cops found and arrested him. This is another hero that thwarted another savage attack on society. Of course he put 4 or 5 bullet holes in his own vehicle but another hero nonetheless.
  2. He risked a lot of peoples lives. Those guys could have turned around and just started shooting. And for what? Some, not all, of the stuff they stole. He didn't even keep the kid there for police and they still had to go catch them. This guy was a dumbass. And what do you think would have happened if he would have shot one of those teens. That would be the mother of all shitstorms.
  3. Yes please. That would be awesome.
  4. The square bills are good. Their WTD topwater works well. I don't like the finish on it but it works. I love their frogs, which others must too because they rarely have any on the shelf. It's good stuff.
  5. I would think that it would depend on where that water came from. With the James bringing a lot of water in from Springfield I would guess that it would be as good as water coming in from an area that isn't as populated. Just the oil and grease from the roads in Springfield alone have to be bad.

    What's Cooking?

That kind of defeats the whole purpose. But I guess at least you can look like you have an egg. I've looked at the KJs and they seem really nice. That's a really nice setup you have.

    What's Cooking?

I have cooked quite a bit on an egg. My parents have had one for years. We've cooked and smoked all kinds of things on it. Burgers, steak, ham, turkeys, fish, pizza, etc. Yes eggs do a very good job of holding heat. But there is nothing that you can do on an egg that you can't do with a Weber Kettle. Well except spend more money.
  8. Oh sure, being that up again.
  9. Lancaster Archery is having a sale right now. Saw some within your budget on their website. They are great people to deal with. Lancasterarchery.com
  10. But if I'm standing on the front there is no reason to dock it. Just pull straight up, I'll step off and you can back up and wait for me to get the truck.

    Our Mothers...

    You can't prove that.

    Our Mothers...

I know a lady named Caitlyn. Apparently she was in the Olympics. Want her number?
  13. I'll be with wrench. I'll have Katniss with me so watch out for those arrows.
  14. I didn't think we were but heroin is becoming the drug of choice around here.
  15. You'll probably be too busy, trying not to drown, to fish. I went a long time ago on a trip we had planned for weeks. River dropped out of flood stage the night before and we went anyway. Worst trip I have ever been on. We lost a lot of gear. I'll never try that again.
  16. That's horrible. The only good that comes from that is your kids seeing it happen. It tends to keep them in check. My daughters have witnessed things from close relatives that have scared them enough to keep them from anything serious I hope. It's worked so far.
  17. How long until she starts college? Of course it's not just the dudes you gotta worry about. A lot of those young ladies in high school like it too.

    Our Mothers...

    Apparently not.
  19. It's really not that hard. Hasn't been for me anyway. But my wife and I are fully involved with our kids. We aren't asking any coaches to go lightly on them. We want them to win as well as lose. They know what it's like to struggle with something but be rewarded in the end. The ones that have the insurmountable task are the ones that are trying to live their dreams through the lives of their children. I see plenty of those parents. I feel sorry for them and especially their kids.
  20. I've coached some youth soccer, t-ball and volleyball where score wasn't kept. I really don't understand this at all. There might not be an actual scoreboard in use but every one of those kids knows if they won or not. So I don't know who we are trying to think we fooled.

He has a point. Look at how well it's working for him.

    Our Mothers...

Weirdos. My mom taught me to cook. My two sisters were never really interested but I was always looking for something to do. It was nothing like anything posted here. Everything was fried, everything was delicious. We had fried taters with everything. Fried spam, sauerkraut and sausage, something referred to as dung-on-a-shingle??, biscuits and sugar syrup. I thought we were living large but later on figured out that we were just a poor Oklahoma family barely getting by. I'm glad I never realized that until later on in life.
  23. That's cool Steve. Sounds like a neat boat. Enjoy it and that retirement.
  24. Yeah I would rather have a photo too. Mounts, of any kind, just seem kind of dorky to me. Not as dorky as a Yeti hat, but pretty close.
  25. That's the only people that I have a problem with in jetboats.
