It's a beautiful life down there. We spend a week down there every summer, just got back on the 28th. The past couple of years I've just stuck to what I could catch on flies and lures from the beach. Haven't been disappointed. We stay out close to Fort Morgan and I have the same thoughts about the bay that you do. I hope to be carrying a yak down there next year myself.
Not sure who owns this store by Stockton but it's nice to have a decent store in that area again. My dad was so impressed that he bought 40 bucks in gas when he really didn't need any.
I got the hard sell on some sausage egg and cheese biscuits from the guy inside and was basically forced to buy a couple, but they were good and worth every penny.
It's a great little store so please give it some business when you are in the area so we can keep them there.
The loop is to help keep the tail from fouling around the hook.
Trigg has fished them way more than me but I know they produce well from talking to him.
No I talked to him when after Glory booked the trip and he said that's what they were going to do. He already knows that I don't tip, or pay, or replace any of his flies. I guess that's why I rarely get an invite.
Nice job guys. I was wondering how this trip was going to pan out. Kudos to you Glory for taking your dad fishing.
Yeah as long as you don't mind him dressing in only a speedo and flip flops then Trigg is the best.
Well if you buy that Champion from Wrench you won't have to worry about being scammed. He's not going to sell you a pile of crap either. Plus it's a Champion.
Well I can agree with that. But one of the ones I want to see get some attention is drunk boaters.
But the problem is that the laws that you really want to have attention doesn't pay the bills like the lakes do.
Whatever? You are always going to take the side of those breaking the law. It's like a broken record. Hope one of these drunks doesn't kill one of your kids.
