But they refused to fix it and when it started going south during a safety test the person in charge refused to back down. Fukushima? DON'T BUILD A NUCLEAR POWER PLANT IN A KNOWN DISASTER AREA. It would be like the US building one along the Mississippi. Sooner or later it's going to get water in it. Plus there are safer designs of nuclear reactors. Designs that will shut themselves down instead of melt down. But I know it will be tough going up against the impeccable safety record of the coal industry.

Nuclear is the way to go. Unfortunately, misinformation to protect fossil fuel profits stands in the way.

You are 100% correct that time could be better spent. I absolutely love football but the only time I watch is when there isn't something else to do. I'd much rather be fishing anytime or hanging out with the family. Like @Terrierman I will take HS sports over all others. And it's not because I know those kids anymore. But at the same time I don't let their personal beliefs affect what I chose to do. Especially if it wouldn't have even been a thing is the media didn't make it a thing. I don't take the time to find out personal beliefs of everyone I come in contact with to see if I should allow them to exist in my head. That would take a lot of effort and wouldn't mean a dang thing. I just can't accept the "shut up and dribble" mentality.

I quit letting entertainment interfere with politics and my life is a whole lot better. Cancel culture is for pussies.

Ol’ Joe wasn’t so cocky towards the end. I watched very little of it. Don’t care about commercials or halftime shows. The sound quality is always crap. Did catch a glimpse of Snoop. Love that guy. I can keep things frozen, not cold, FROZEN, for 5 days in the hot summer sun. One of those big heavy things might do it longer but I can't see where that is beneficial with all the extra added weight. If I had a boat out on the salt I would definitely own one. But a few days out around here it is very unnecessary. Just wear the trucker Yeti hat and people will think you are plenty cool.
