    Columbus was a douchebag. I do wish they would teach the truth and not some government mandated one. I don’t care much about the statues. Take em or leave em. I don’t care. Just never been a fan of statues. But I think we should think long and hard about removing them to appease people. But that also has been going on for a long time. People still lose their minds over nativity scenes or crosses. Once you cater to one you cater to all.

    I agree with what most of these guys are saying. Get yourself a new rod. But remember you don't need to spend $1,000 to get a quality setup. I have fished with those $1,000 rods and they are nice but they don't cast or fish any better than my what i own. I don't own the cheapest rods in the world but you won't see me with those ultra expensive ones either. Redington, Echo, and TFO all make quality gear.

    Agreed. We have the same problem. I called one of our shipping managers yesterday to find out why we only got 3 skids of product instead of the 9 they were shipping to one store. And it was because they only had room for 3 on all the shipping companies they use and the rest shipped later.

    Yeah the famous maglite made a nice little chip and dent on the fender of a car I spent two years building. When you can't find anything wrong with what someone is doing you try to destroy what they have out of ignorance and jealousy. I feel very fortunate that there were a whole bunch of people around when it happened.

    Not sure about what he thought about hippies but he sure did think he was a tough guy. But he was just another crappy LEO that policed with fear and intimidation. He’s one of those that gives good cops a bad name.

    Cool stuff. Lived in Pittsburg for about 6 months when i was in 8th grade. I loved fishing the pits around there.

    Only problem is that right now it's all a little to much to be wading around very far.

    I've caught a bunch of good fish on the James fishing close to an access. My theory is that most people are in such a hurry to get away from the access that it really doesn't get much pressure. Sure you have the regular bank gang that won't get their feet wet but they are hurting much. Get in the water and wade around. When wading I usually try to head upstream.

    Not what I meant. I meant if you don’t understand something, anything, go educate yourself on the subject. But people say they don’t understand and then assume they know the answer. It’s everywhere in society these days.

    Nope. I’m calling anyone that won’t take the time to educate themselves ignorant. It’s a huge problem in our country. It’s a huge problem in the world. I’m not the guy to educate you on political matters. Especially on a fishing forum that has banned such activity.

    Nope. I’m not sure if it’s a good idea or not. But at least I tried to understand what it means before I took a side. I mean it couldn’t possibly mean that we just get rid of all police. And it doesn’t.
