Good thing about this country they are free to do as they choose. I love how everyone gets in an uproar when a big company changes their policy but nobody gives a crap how they treat their employees. Spend a little extra and buy local and support a local family instead of the stock market.

One day the kids will be all grown and there will be plenty of time to fish. I was planning on going Sunday but since I was out until 2am so my kid could sit and talk music and guitars with one of her rock and roll heroes I decided to sleep in.

The paper maps are pointless anymore when you have Google Earth. You can do screenshots like Wrench mentioned or even print out sections to carry with you. I’ve been with a guy that likes to print off the entire section we are going to float so we can pick out likely camp spots.

Those are the exact ones! My boobs aren’t that nice though.

It's not easy but they are so good.

It's a television show. It's a movie. It's not supposed to be real life. It's make believe for enjoyment. If you don't enjoy things that can't really happen you will hate The Peanut Butter Falcon.

Same with the Alamo Drafthouse here in town. Prices are the same everywhere but it's a much better experience skipping the ticket line and ordering a meal & beer from your seat. Especially the Loaded Fries!

I've been waiting for it to come out for months. While Shia LaBeouf has been kind of an asshat I have always liked him in movies. The lady sitting next to me was sobbing at the end. I was sobbing when i found out how much it cost for 3 people to see a movie and get some popcorn but it was worth it.

Far fetched. Over the top. Odd at times. But I really really really enjoyed it. And no those were not tears at the end. Obviously I had something in my eye.

Yeah I'm never throwing a streamer on 6X. 6lb would be the smallest. But I ain't no trout guru or anything.

You can get better. But honestly most are not going to take the time. I know that I spend a lot of time taking pics when I could/should be fishing but it's another hobby that I enjoy and I love being able to combine the two.

Lies. While some techniques might be better at times there are plenty of ways to catch them. Fish what you like, fish it well, and you will be rewarded. Enjoy the adventure. It's a ton of fun.

Thanks Mitch but if I only posted a report when I "do well" you guys would never hear from me again. But actually I did do well yesterday. Hung out with a buddy. Went to the river. Caught a fish. Took some pictures. My version of well has thankfully changed over the years. But I also remember when yesterday wouldn't have been okay. And I would drive home pissed. Usually that was after a tournament. And I would just feel horrible until I was able to get back out and prove I could do it. So I get that too, just glad I don't have those feelings anymore.

I've never floated it. Been there twice, to the exact same place. Need to get a boat on it though. It's a cool spot.

@Harps texted me a 5:45 this morning and said the rain was a ways off. I grabbed my stuff, stopped for sammich supples, and headed to The Harper Castle. We headed southeast in search of some fish and to revisit a spot we hadn’t seen since last year. The creek had changed a bunch in a year. Really amazing how different it looked. We worked hard and caught a few but really nothing close to what we were looking for. We covered a lot of ground on foot and as always had a good time. Harps is always picking up other people’s trash and today it finally paid off. Clean up after yourselves you freaking slobs.

I heard floating mat and they were still looking for the body.
