  1. I haven't seen it but my oldest daughter (24) was telling me how good it was. So maybe it was something for the youngsters because it's been getting really good reviews. I asked her about the time thing and she said it was cool. But I don't usually like movies that get great reviews.
  2. It was an epic day, but the fishing sucked. Floating a river with my best friend of 25+ plus years made it epic. We don't get to hang out as much any more due to kids and crazy lives but no matter how much time goes by it's like we were never apart. Been two years since we floated but it's not going to be near that long before we do it again.
  3. There were a couple of sketchy spots but nothing we had to portage around or anything. Never had to break out the saw. The fishing wasn't great though. A bit high, little murky. Those that did choose to participate were very strong fish. Once again the PBJ Ned saved the day.
  4. That looks like fun. But I'm terrified of heights so I'll just keep my fatass right on the ground.
  5. Nice fish! What are those wading shoes you are wearing?
  6. I think if you would have had time to fish all the structure well then it would have been a better day for us. But we kept moving for the most part. I had something flush a buzzbait early on but I got too excited and blew it.

  8. Thank you!! Looks like we are all in at this point, chainsaw and all.
  9. Since we are talking about mayo........
  10. Awesome, thanks. But if that water is muddy I won't be going there.
  11. Mayo all the way. That's an easy one.
  12. Don't laugh because it will make the trip.
  13. They are the ones that said it was blocked but they also said that a couple of guys were able to get thru there. I guess there is only one way to know for sure.
  14. Anybody been through that stretch lately? Have a buddy taking his family on an overnight this weekend and they have heard that there is a big logjam right above 133 that might make it impassable. He's going Sunday-Monday so we might head up Saturday and try that stretch but would rather not run into a major obstruction late in the day on a long float.
  15. His shirt says it all. Cool Bro.
  16. If I wanted to play video games I would just stay home.
  17. There is some skinny water headed upstream. Might be tough depending on the water levels.
  18. It asks how much money you spend on your fishing hobby? I assumed that included everything. I don't track it or want to know but I'm sure it's way over $500.
  19. Awesome! You two kids have fun. Can't wait to read all about it.
  20. A lot of things in life don't make sense but legs made of rubber are hardly curly tails.
  21. They are allowed.

    What's Cooking?

Leong's family owns Leong's Asian Diner and serves up the recipes that made it famous. I shall go check on them tonight to see that they are keeping everything up to par.

    What's Cooking?

I was explaining this to one of my daughters after she had some chinese in Los Angeles. Leong created what this city knows as Cashew Chicken. And that method has ran over into other chinese dishes. It's about as authentic as Taco Bell is to mexican food but it's still darn good.
  24. Do they know how many times these fish are caught?
