  1. Nope. You haven't made a single valid point since you started posting again. But remember you were the one that asked for the photo. Too bad it didn't work out the way you had planned. And it wouldn't be in your best interest to start calling folks liars because you look like an idiot.
  2. Sorry I don't do requests. Maybe you should just stick to the carp stuff. But here is one from the Big Piney in June of 2013.
  3. When I was 8 years old I was turned loose in my own float tube on the Oklahoma ponds. Those water moccasins would always come to investigate. Looking back on it now it probably just looked like a good place to sun for them. At that age I was scared of them but never felt threatened and they never acted aggressive. Neither did the diamondbacks that I ran across. It would scare you at first because you would always hear the rattle before you saw the snake but again if you leave them alone there was no aggression. Heck even the buffalo that snuck us behind me one day wasn't aggressive. Probably just curious. But at 10 or 11 it was a pretty traumatic experience. But I had been taught enough to know that being calm was a better option than being a screaming idiot. People are more dangerous than any creature you will find around here outside of Sasquatch.
  4. Well I grew up in OK fishing farm ponds and small lakes. I know what a water snake looks like. I also know what a cotton mouth looks like and real rattle snakes too. There are plenty of cotton mouths in Missouri. And another little secret for ya. They aren't aggressive if you leave them the hell alone.
  5. I love reports like this.
  6. I like that idea.
  7. While they do get misidentified they aren't really rare.
  8. Pretty place. Grew up fishing ponds in Oklahoma so they will always be my favorite places to fish.
  9. Well it works on some files but not all.
  10. I even logged out and back in and tried again.
  11. Nope, same message as Seth posted. 2.7mb file.
  12. Yep that's the same one I get.
  13. Nope. Still getting the same message.
  14. I had the same problem and thought it was file size but maybe not now that I see this.
  15. Not if you know how to fish. It takes you out of your comfort zone and takes you away from the same old spots you always fish. It doesn't even have to be a new body of water just an area that you are not used to. When you get into the same old boring routine then you are missing out.
  16. I don't see the need on a river. I have one on my kayak but it stays at home if I'm on a river.
  17. maybe if they are so delicate we shouldn't be fishing at all during the spawn.
  18. True but you know what I mean. Or maybe it would be okay if I moved in next door to you and worked on my dragster at 2am?
  19. Can and should are two different things. They have been there for a very long time. But Like I said, if you are looking for a meal there are better places to go.
  20. If I camp in a campground I have to turn off my music at a certain time. Even if I'm the only one that can hear it. But an airboat can come into the same area and make as much noise as they want? That's not lib vs. conservative, it's just stupid. We have no need for airboats around here.
  21. Well yeah it's a mental thing. That's usually all it ever is. That's when it's time to push through all that. Quit worry about so many variables. Quit worrying about what other people are doing. Just go out and catch your own fish your own way and it will come back together.
  22. It's not your boat. It's not your trolling motor. Leave your electronics and everything you learned in the internet at home. Grab a few rods and a few baits you like to fish and go catch some fish. If you don't know how to do that then you have located the problem.
  23. Agreed. A stick is a weapon too. Me and Sophi are going to crank up the fire pit tonight and burn all the weapons in the yard.
  24. Then it will be boring again. Thanks for the net job! And the boat ride.
