You are close to some of the best topwater action that lake has to offer. Spent several years of my life up there throwing stuff on top. Your best bet for good action is going to be early. Really early. Spent a couple summers going up every Saturday morning. We would be in our spot before the sun came up and just crush fish until they quit. We were always back home in Springfield by noon. Good times, great memories. I'll message you tomorrow with some spots to check out.

Maybe to you but I don't here that any where else. I grew up about 70 miles south of OU and still have a lot of family and friends there. There perception will never change. EVER. They aren't like Mizzou or Arkansas or many other college fans. They do not waiver. Not saying that they are always happy but they are always dedicated to the program. If you never had the chance in your life to experience football in the south then you can really never understand. I played HS ball at a little school that regularly had more people in attendance at the Friday night football games that greatly exceeded the population of the town. And we sucked. Football is viewed differently in southern OK and TX. It just is.

Ladyfish are a blast from the beach with a flyrod. I love it that like to fly through the air while fighting one. I would not want to bring one on a boat though. That's gotta be a mess.

Yeah it's a pay cut, a salary cut, but there will be other things that make up some of that that come with being head coach. Plus some guys are not about the money. Maybe he just wanted to give it a shot on his own. No matter what it was I'm very happy for MSU. They need something or somebody to get them going. It's a great school with wonderful facilities. They have shown sparks of being able to play in the past few years. Hopefully this gets them going in a good direction.
