    Brother Dave will lead you in the right direction. Sorry I'm gonna miss out on the rendezvous. Will still be guiding up here in Alaska till Oct. Your gonna have to come back for Doty Deer/Duck camp right around Thanksgiving.

    We start blasting on the 1st of September up here in AK. Ptarmagen season starts in 3 days. Been working with a drahthaar this summer. She's ready to hunt in three more days. You fellas better save a few for when I get back in October.

    Our 210 day weekend has finally come to an end. DD'sMC and I are headed back to the office today. Hope you all find a good way to beat the heat on the water this summer. I sure had my fill of it last week. I will be posting a few pictures every now and then, and yes, they will be directed at getting even with and making F&F have a bad case of the Jones'. Enjoy your summer!

    MC said she looked for your sign up sheet and couldn't find it. LOL! Had a great time. It was a fun event with great prizes. Watching those kids get to fish in the hatchery was entertaining too. You would have thought a NASCAR race or football game was going on with all the cheering.

    Unfortunately, one of the requirements to receive the PDF in Alaska is to spend 13 consecutive months up there. That would require spending the winter up there and this fella ain't gonna be doing no nonsense like that. They can keep their PFD fund.

    I use up to 15 pound tippet in Alaska. At night in Missouri I will use 10 pound test

    I wanted to upgrade my limited 6-pack for rivers and fresh waters of western Alaska U.S. Coast Guard Captains license, so I studied all winter, went and took the test, filled out all the paperwork and sent it all in about 3 weeks ago. Today, I have been informed that everything has been approved and I have been issued my U.S. Captains license with a domestic endorsement good for the entire United States. Pretty proud of this. Had to study hard for that test.
