Got a couple of those HUK Daiwa Tatula "freebie's" coming myself. People can trash HUK all they want but I personal absolutely love their stuff. Some of the most comfortable gear I've ever worn and is extremely breathable when it comes to the summer months. I have both long and short performance tee's, as well as a hoodie and love all of them. Rain gear looks sweet but just can't justify dropping 5 or 6 bills on them.

Great info Bo. Figured that Trokar would be the deal due to that extra bite angle. Was hoping you'd come on here and I could get it straight from the horses mouth. You have quite the product with an almost endless platform to keep adding to the NuTech line of baits. Thanks again and keep up the good work.

Bo's tackle and head/weed guard design is the real deal. I was running low and I just stocked up on his jigs at Tackle Warehouse back in April. Got some of the Elite heads with the Trokar hook also. Not sure if it will make any difference vs the regular Owner hooks he using the standard NuTech models. The Trokars are a little big bigger and have a bigger bite on them. Figured what the heck, I'll try them.

Looks like I am not gonna be able to make it after all. Bummer. Wanted to get in on that flip bite.

I'm not too proud to switch gears fairly quick if it's not what they want.........except when fishing a jerkbait.

You try a buzzbait at all in the flooded trees? Coming down Friday for a quick one and a half day escapade and had half a hankering of burning one thru through all the junk. I had good success doing that in one of the flood years (maybe 2012?). Granted that was early to mid May when that was going on but kinda in the same ballpark as now.

Nice specimen of a Red Ear. In all my years at TR I never have caught one. Thanks for the report and pic.

That first pic has a great view of the across The Unnamed Creek with the Inaccessible Green Roofed Dock. Nice properties, Terry.

Looks like the Big Bite Craw Tube.

LOL. You have my sincerest apology. It has definitely spiraled (wrapped) out of control now. As usual Vernon is to blame. Who wants to play a quick afternoon 18? Anyone?

I'm going to come clean and say that I had a heavy hand in Shoreline Memorandum. I had multiple meetings with both Senator Blunt and Rep. Billy Long. I lobbied to get additional funding to add transgender bathrooms to all COE parks and ramps. All these new big docks, housing developments and other shoreline projects are going to fund the facilities that I have fought so hard to get and so desperately need. I just can't hardly wait to pee sitting down.

You have me PEGGED all wrong. I'm pretty accepting by nature and affiliate with Carolina, Mojo, Split-Shot, Umbrella and even other imports such as the Neko. Only issue I have is with the Double Fluke Riggers because I don't go both ways like that.

Nice beaver.

Ned's cousin. We don't talk about him much here because he is that odd cousin and doesn't work.

Also forgot to mention State Park. Lots of spots to fish there as well.

Probably a GOOD rule. Plenty of places to fish around SDC there around Indian Point. Can also head further towards the dam and lots of good banks to fish there as well. Around Moonshine Beach and the dam spillway offers decent fishing. The banks around the Branson Belle are loaded with small mouth as well. Just make your way down to the water and focus on main lake, secondary points or gravel flats near deeper water. From the reports that seems to be where fish are congregated. Can always catch them on a Ned Rig. Other baits to try would be a 3-5" swimbait on a jig head, a topwater of your choice (Spook, Pop R or Redfin) or a finesse jig with craw trailer. Not sure on your tackle options but those should get you bit. Fishing from the bank a lot of bites often times will come on the drop when throwing into that 15-30 foot range. Sometimes a lighter jig like a 5/16th spider jig with a paca chunk that flaps can be killer as it has a slower fall. Topwater shines right around sunset when the light starts to fade. Good luck!

Do you have a boat? Or are you just fishing FROM the bank?

6/1 Shell Knob - Beautiful Day and Good Fishing
abkeenan replied to whiteley.matt's topic in Table Rock Lake
As good a report and post as you will find. Perhaps TOO GOOD! Very generous to share your spot. I'm sure when you go back it will be COVERED from here to Timbuktu. Also thanks for the pics. I think I enjoy pics in reports more than the actually nitty gritty of the how they were captured. Thanks again. -
Chicken Nuggets - The Go-To bait for record largemouths
abkeenan replied to Ellros's topic in Table Rock Lake
Stink bait + McNuggets = Stink Nuggets??? -
Still waiting on something to hit my inbox..............

Man, I must be a total nutjob then because I actually PAY for baits and don't use them.

Fishing In The Trees,Be careful! Snakes!
abkeenan replied to eyedabassman's topic in Table Rock Lake
I believe you use the same method as is used for ousting groundhogs. A 2004 Ford Excursion on 35" Goodyear Swamper Lug Varmint Squasher tires. Highly effective. Or so I'm told. -
Fishing In The Trees,Be careful! Snakes!
abkeenan replied to eyedabassman's topic in Table Rock Lake
Beardsley Creek was actually named Snakesley Creek originally due to the unimaginable amount of snakes that patrolled it's waters. Somewhere in the early 60's the name was changed because nobody dared venture into that creek with that name. Could hardly sell property, a home or much less a dock in those parts. True story. 87% of all cottonmouths in Missouri live in Beardsley. Don't go in that creek if you know whats good for you. -
Quill nailed it. Either his suggestion or a hook with a deeper throat to keep the baits from sliding down. It happens A LOT on wobble heads. Highly annoying. As far as baits I like a D-Bomb or Menace Grub myself.

Scoring. Each Player will have points added or deducted based on his or her selected Team members’ performance. Standings are determined by a system that awards points based on final standings in each Bassmaster Elite Series event. The Players also will earn points for the 2017 GEICO Bassmaster Classic event based on a similar but modified scoring system as there are fewer anglers competing. The system awards 300 points to the winner of each tournament, with a five- point decrease per position through fifth place, which receives 280 points. There is a four-point decrease from sixth (276) to 10th place (260), and a three-point decrease per position from 11th place (257) to 15th place (245), and a two-point decrease per position from 16th place through the rest of the field. Anglers who finish in a tie receive points based on a formula that adds the points of the affected positions and divides the total by the number of anglers tied for the position. The resulting number represents the number of points awarded to each angler in a tie. An angler must weigh a legal fish to register points, and those who do not are not awarded points for the tournament. For each day they lead a tournament, five bonus points are added to an angler’s total, including the final day. Anglers who do not catch any fish in a tournament do not receive points. Forty (40) bonus points will be added to the angler’s total who catches the heaviest fish of each tournament. A ‘Big Bag’ bonus of forty (40) bonus points will be added to the angler’s total who has the highest 1-day total weight of each tournament. Season Rankings are cumulative of all Elite Series events, from Elite Series tournament #1, Lake Cherokee, through Elite Series tournament #10, Toyota Bassmaster AOY Championship and the 2017 GEICO Bassmaster Classic.
