  1. No. It is basically his regular NuTech Jig with a spinner blade arm attached.
  2. First off nice report Bo. Secondly that is a interesting and observant take on why you don't think the fish would be up shallow. Makes sense. Lastly, with that single spin you just keeping it moving bumping bottom? Dragging it like a jig? Hopping it up and letting it flutter back down to bottom and repeating? I believe I am actually going to be able to get away next weekend and will be fishing the dam area on Saturday night.
  3. I don't know how Dave can tell this kids on his basketball and football teams they need to hit the weight room when he looks like that. Probably the reason why he has that bowie fillet knife on his hip....intimidation and deters any backtalk. We know he isn't cleaning any fish so that has to be the reason right?
  4. Browning nailed it. If you're selling these you will probably get about $8 each for them. The "replacement" hooks are actually a downgrade (look to be Mustad Bronze Triple Grips) from the Lucky Craft trebles that come on them stock. They were given to you so anything you get is 100% profit for more lures/toys.
  5. I can honestly say I've never done that. But, I won't speak as to how I have glued them to my fingers.
  6. WE have one and it works. Trying to get a cricket out of the cage/basket and thread it onto a hook is a major PITA. When you have finally slayed Goliath and loaded your frickin hook with one and drop it down only to be picked off within 3 seconds by a 2" gill and have to reload.....ummm yeah.....the TNT is almost slipped over the side at that point instead of a split shot and gold eagle claw hook with another cricket.
  7. I will agree to a certain extent but the knifers are now going out of their way to rub it in the C&R guys face and in a very childish manner. This OP as well as Rick only post with the intention of ATTENTION. The C&R guys have let it go as it has been rehashed on this forum more than Michael Jackson's nose jobs but for some reason the meat hunters are dead set on bringing it back up for whatever reason. You can have a sense of humor like 5bites post....but the original intent of the OP is mean spirited and just not funny.
  8. Okay 5bites, that was actually funny.
  9. Certainly no limit of losers on the boards these days with too much time on their hands and receiving of too little attention at home.
  10. Awesome Alex. You certainly have a knack for sticking the big ones. I need to meet up with you in the dam area one of these days to learn from the monster master and steal some of your monster mojo. Good job buddy.
  11. What he said.
  12. Well when they put it like that of course I have to have one. Marketing geniuses get me again.
  13. I probably need to pass on this considering I have quite a few wake baits. I also have a lucky Craft bulldog waker that weighs like 2oz. and is frickin huge which is why I throw on my 7'10 BPS Cranking Stick and can fling that thing a mile. It's actually a fun bait to throw just obnoxiously big.
  14. Quill. I'm just going to give you my wife's phone # so you can explain to her why I keep adding to my already bulging tackle box/bag. Kidding aside that seems to have good rolling action on it. The deal with wake baits though is that some wake under slow speeds great but once you amp it up a bit they dive or run funny. Hard to get a grasp on what they will do until you try them yourself......but at that point you've already bought it!
  15. That's a heck of a night Bo. Congrats.
  16. Fish saw on social media that mjk96 was coming down and they had heart attacks. Happens once a year ever since 1977. Just a joke mjk86. All in good fun.
  17. I didn't take it personal. Next time the Elites come to TR I want to be a marshall. Sounds like a good time and a great learning opportunity.
  18. Maybe Rick caught his polaroid camera he dropped overboard in 1988 on a drop shot rig today and finally posted a report? Those tacos are probably really stale now I would imagine.
  19. Well just based on my experiences on the water it hasn't been as good as "normal" the last few years. That was also the Elites.....who are pro's vs me the schmo. Not really a fair fight lol.
  20. Well you had to get rid of one to make room for your convenience store of tackle you have in there. Priorities.
  21. It's been about 3 years since we've had a good jerkbait bite. It's my favorite way to catch them so we are due for a good winter/spring McStick season.
  22. Better start selling the crap out of ned heads.
  23. These guys make a ton of "Stereotypes" videos and they are all hilarious and mostly 100% true. Here is the same link for easier viewing.
  24. I have just as many excuses why I didn't play well as why I didn't catch them......lol. Barometric pressure, sun in my eyes, high pressure front, low pressure front, fast greens, golf cart got a flat tire, Mizzou lost and made me lose metal focus, brother smelled in the back of the boat and scared the fish away......I've gott'em all.
  25. Fishing and golf also make me question why I do either of them at times. One good outing from either keeps you coming back for more. Therein lies the maddening enigma. I loved golf before yesterday....today is Monday and I hate it again. At least I don't treat my fishing gear like my golf gear.
