  1. I'm assuming that torture by way of pouring 10,000 ned heads didn't convert him and make him switch from Jayhawk Blue to Blue Devil? Maybe next time you kill a rodent of unusual size cut it's head off and put it in the bed with him while he sleeps a la Godfather style. Time to get creative Dave. The world is infested with too many Jayhawker's as it is.
  2. Those Wildcats are due for a loss! What a powerhouse UK is now. Good GOD! I was excited that MIZZOU almost covered the spread against them in Lexington earlier this year......I believe it was like 42 points. They lost by 49....lol.
  3. Yep. Mid to late March is a great time of the year. It's even better when your team happens to fill a position on that bracket. Ho hum. Stupid Tigers.
  4. Very nice Bill. Looking forward to May
  5. Nice report.
  6. Dave, I'll work security detail at your booth for a few of those hand tied TRUE VARMINT jig heads.
  7. Very nice!
  8. Looks like today could have been a killer Chrome Shad McStick day. Oh the humanity!
  9. These pics are KILLING ME. Need to get down there!
  10. Ha! I would love to see someone launch from the Upper end at ER, come to the lower end in Long Creek and then run back. You should be able to get in 10 casts before you have to put the rod back in the box and haul anything you got back to weigh in before 3pm.
  11. If you wanted a decent Mexican place there is one there in old town Hollister called Little Hacienda across the street from the Landing. Been there a handful of times and it's as good of Mexican as you are going to find in the haunts of the foothills of Branson/Hollister/Ozark areas. The chimichanga's are great. Parking with a boat would be difficult. Best would be park it somewhere on the landing and walk over. Would only be a couple of block walk.
  12. Stinks I can't make this. Hope this is now an established annual event. Also hope going forward it can be moved to mid-lake for launch/weigh in. Have fun guys! Someone please post pics of this event.

Only fishing I've been doing is on Tackle Warehouse Lake where it's never frozen over and they're always biting.
  14. Found it. Looks like he was using a Lucky Shad and not a Rapala Shad Rap but they are nearly identical.
  15. Lots of guys like that Shad Rap in cold water on spinning gear. I've never tried it but I did watch a Mark Menendez youtube video of him doing just that a few months ago. I'll see if I can find it.
  16. Not a fan of pre-rigged stuff either. Wonder if they will sell just the bodies at some point? Prolly not as they want you to buy the kit like in their Bama Rig and accessory kit that goes with it. Also had that "3 for 1" jig thing with 3 boot tails models into one bait that you bought it in a kit with one pre-rigged and a couple of spare bodies.
  17. Can probably narrow it down pretty easily considering he doesn't fish anything deeper than 6 feet. So just go over to Tackle Warehouse and search crank baits that run 0-5 feet then throw a dart and you have your answer. That or a War Eagle blade.
  18. They started putting stock duo lock snaps on the wiggle warts in the mid 90's I believe. Yep. I noticed the same thing. Once I switched to the KVD triple grips I had less fish spit the bait on me.
  19. Not sure about tying directly to the line tie but I always just used a speed clip/duo lock snap (that comes on the new warts). As far as hooks I like the KVD Elite short shank Mustads myself. I've used Owner ST-41's also which are AWESOME hooks but on the warts I like the KVD Elites. I go with a size 4 on the front hook and a size 6 on the back. They will never fowl one another and do a good job. Split rings I do not change out as the are plenty stout on either old models or new....unless yours have been sitting around so long they have rust but that would be the only reason for changing them.
  20. Tackle Warehouse has the older phantom craw colors but the new ones that just came out a few months ago with Tim Hughes' paint scheme are Bass Pro Exclusives so you won't be able to get them anywhere other than through BPS.....or Ebay from a reseller.
  21. If you get out and fish on days like today you deserve to get rewarded. Two 5lb'ers! Awesome.
  22. Yeah that is certainly a different feature with the trebles. But I just like everything about it. I like its profile size, natural look and it's versatility to be fished at different depths and with different retrieves. If nothing else it's a work of art!
  23. Start selling more of your poisonous jigheads and you just might be able to afford one.
  24. Me either.
  25. They are rigid but doesn't hinder hook ups on fish. His jigs are no gimmick. They flat out do as they say.
