I caught the biggest crappie and he had big bass Saturday. I think I bested him on bass numbers, but he had me on crappie. Sunday I had the big bass, however he had the numbers that day. ?

Sidebar - I really like my new GillzMask and Glacier Gloves. However, I seem to have trouble keeping the mouth hole centered over my mouth hole from the looks of the photo. Lol. Champ didn't make fun of me too much. ?

Got my Gillzmask and sun gloves in yesterday. Anxious to take 'em for a test drive this weekend. Mask is unbelievably light and sheer, but rated SPF 50.

Right! Cracked me up on MLF when Ott Defoe had one pulled all the way up PLUS gloves, but he's in shorts AND barefooted. Lol. Tops of them feets must be crispy.

Love smallmouth and love Broken Bow. Beautiful place. A good friend of ours is a fulltime guide there and his dad before him. We usually make 1-2 trips a year to visit him and go fishing. Fun times.

This has always felt like family to me. You guys are my brothers and uncles and have always made me feel welcome without the unnecessary "muck" other fishing forums engage in. Love ya.

Ended up fishing one of our little lakes in Bella Vista this afternoon until nearly 6 p.m. Ned was the star of the 40-bass show. A few better ones on a spinnerbait and a couple on a JB. All little males. Not sure there were any keepers, but it was fun. My last Ned looked like it had been through a meat grinder and the weed guard disintegrated. WT 54.7-55.4. No clouds, but wind. You had to be in the sun. Nothing in the backs of pockets. Main lake and halfway back on the sunny sides sitting in 8-15 FOW casting toward the bank. Fished some good looking brush and lay downs without much success. Not TR, but a nice diversion after Saturday.

We keep intending to try it. Timing never works out. I know Bill Babler likes it.

That's our plan. Can't handle anymore shopping...Verizon, Sam's Club and Walmart...in the snow and sleet. I'm dragging. Ugh. Hate shopping. Fire's going and my old phone is transferring to my new one. Had a "foldover" Palmetto cheese sandwich (awesome spicy pim cheese from Sam's) and that may be the extent of my supper. Hope they bite for me tomorrow like they did for Lily today.

Have you tried the catfish? Pretty amazing for a BBQ/burger joint. I'm always hung up between it and the Mimi's burger with candied jalapenos.
