Have been on the water every wkend for 6 wks and the bite has got better every day, worst day has been 13 kps and around 16 lbs. Have had at least 1 6lbr every trip and Sunday the brownies came out. Your a heck of a stick ! Worst day 13 keeps? Wish I knew someone that had done as well the last 6 weekends, every weekend. I aint biting on your story. Its been way too tough this last month, but then again I suck at catching them. Sorry but thats the way I feel.

I guess I better stop fishing weekdays and fish weekends. Seems they bite better then.

The Yamaha SHO manual shows these fuel requirements. FUEL AND LUBRICATION Recommended Fuel VF250 (Min. PON 89) (for best performance) VF225 (Min. PON 89) VF200 (Min. PON 87) It also suggests to use ethanol free when available. The Yamaha rep told me you can run 87 octane but you will not get the HP out of the motor because it has knock sensors that will retard the timing when it senses a knock thus reducing HP.

In the 4 state area dont think you have to travel much to see them. Just keep your eyes to the sky. There everywhere. A friend of ours south of Joplin had there little dog, (around 15 pounds) picked up by an eagle. It flew off with it for about 50 yards and dropped it at around 30 feet. Dog came through it just fine.

A non profit volunteer service that kept the day use fees local , then the corp pulled the plug on them after 2 years siting they wanted to keep the fees in there general fund. I fished yesterday from 9 to 2. Caught 1 short k on a jerkbait. I just suck I guess. Head reports that 11 pounds won the winter series yesterday. Might check it out again in a little bit. Waiting on the wind to whip up a bit !

I believe these are the biggest fish ever caught at Table Rock. Just ask my Grandson he will tell ya.

Not the heaviest fish I have caught but probably the longest. She shoulda weighed 8 pounds but just bumped 6. She was sickly and skinny. Caught on spin rod with 6 pound test on a grub. Fishing with Bill B. and Phil Lilley on tax day around 2005. Bet our best 5 that day woulda been close to 25 pounds.Remember that day Bill? Most that day were caught on a jerbait, April 15th. Hint: dont put the jerbait away to early !
