  1. Excellent report. Thank you for sharing.
  2. How is the water conditions since lake came up? I am planning to leave at 2:30am tomorrow for a day trip. Any help would be great. Don’t want to make a 4 hour trip if it is chocolate milk
  3. I am looking to come down tomorrow for the day. I put in at Shell Knob. What is the water clarity in the White River? Also, I understand your frustration with the high water. My grandma’s place flooded 3 times in the last high water events.
  4. Thanks, Jeff ! Way to Go! I am now Poor! But, ready with a good supply of Keitechs for next week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🙂
  5. Blessing to you my friend and thank you for the report
  6. I used it last December on the deep points with cedar trees. I was just crawling it and it worked great. In March, I was throwing 3/16 on spinning tackle like you mentioned
  7. I throw it on the swim jig rod I picked up from you and 10lb flouro
  8. Just saw a post from his wife. Surgery was successful!

  11. I had the opportunity to make a day trip yesterday. The lake was in beautiful condition, and the fish cooperated for me most of the day. WT: 49-51 Areas: Main lake points with mix of gravel and rock (4-18 feet), boat in 20-30 feet. Baits: 3/16 Dirty Jig Guppyhead and 2.8 Keitech (Electric Shad and Pro Blue Red Shad) This was the only bait that played all day. Tried a jerkbait when the wind came up, but the fish preferred the swimbait. Overall, the fishing was good for my first time on the water this year. I was simply casting, letting it fall 2-4 seconds, and a slow constant retrieve. The bait would "tick" or simply "load" the rod up. Fish were all really healthy and they are feeding up preparing to spawn in the next few weeks. However, I think the cold front will pull them back over the next few days. I ended up with the trifecta (Spotted, Largemouth, and Smallmouth). Of the 20 fish I caught, about half were solid keepers. On another note, stay safe and be smart. All this will pass soon, and I look forward to fishing with you all again.
  12. Yes. We are only talking the tournament on Saturday
  13. My vote is shoot for 1st week in December. Lake is calmed down, and the fishing is still really good.
  14. I have wondered the same thing James. I have been reflecting on what is truly the "responsible" move. We are certainly in uncharted territory.
  15. Well, I made a decent comeback this weekend after the disaster on the St. Johns River!
  16. Fantastic Read! Thank you!
  17. Nice fish! Can not wait to get back on the water.
  18. Great people and product. I build most of my jigs with their products.
  19. Got this from a guy on BBC Forum. He is the humminbird guru in my opinion That unit does not have Down Imaging, it has composite Down Imaging views created by blending the two SI pulses. If the SI range is less than the depth, you won't get bottom on the DI view. Seemed to fix my problem
  20. Nice job!
  21. Well done gentlemen!
