    Thanks for the info guys. Got the boat out just as the latest round of storms arrived. We are on the trailer and high and wet not dry.

    Is there a good source of future lake levels. Have the current info save in the devices I have the boat on the lift but will be leaving Tuesday for home. Trying to figure out wether to pull it out now or later. Plan on fishing Sunday afternoon and Monday. Any help would be appreciated

    I used Dan's Marine in Kimberling City last year. They fit me in short notice and very fair on price even though I was in a pinch. I had fuel line problems.

    I found fishing tough today. Caught 5 all spots. 2 on split shot fish doctor and 3 on a 2.8 Kietech. How was everyone else's day?

    I'll second Bill's Kietch heads. Stuck one of those hooks in the end of a finger. Darn sharp glad the barb did not go in.

    Sorry to correct you Bill. Ultrexx is the new cable steer with spot lock. Ulterra is the fully electronic with power stow and trim plus spot lock. I had an Xi5 on my old boat. Did not care for the cordless foot pedal. Steering was not real responsive. Spot lock and hand fob worked fine. Ordered an Ulterra on the new boat. Supposed to be here any time now.

    Howdie. Got out at 4:30 for a few hours. Found a large school of shad in the back of a creek Kimberling area. Caught 12. 4 of each species. Biggest close to 4 lb large mouth. The 3 lb smallie won the fighting contest. Swim bait thru the shad was the deal.

    Lots of rain some marble size hail just south of Kimberling. No damaging winds. My guess would be 2 inches plus of rain.

    Howdie Folks The Mrs and I are looking to buy property in the Kimberling City area. Mrs. does not drive due to a physical limitation. I am in need of information on public launches in the area. Will have to do it by myself unless we have friends or family down. Please give me some guidance. Thanks Toby
