  1. I'll bring coffee.
  2. I just go with trying to be as quiet as I can whenever I am fishing. Don't like my shadow or the shadow of the boat to go over anything I am planning to fish.
  3. I did get out today, windy and 35 when I launched at 1030, stayed that way until about 2 PM and it almost became sort of nice for the last couple of hours.

Putting a booby trap intended for humans in the tall grass by the road is a POS move. Yeah you got lucky and got your intended victims and fortunately they didn't get killed and fortunately some neighborhood kid didn't end up getting spiked.
  5. I can only speak for the Grand lake blues, but they are a cut above channels caught from that lake.
  6. I remember a time, maybe 25 years ago, where the guides on the White below Bull would do doughnuts on deep holes that were holding browns, theory being the browns would get agitated, move around, and that would get them to bite.

That one cracks me up, how do they expect a dog to know it has rabies? I know that is not the intent of that law, but if you take it literally... BAD DOG! You have rabies, quit running around!
  8. Yep, good chance those farmed raised catfish came from overseas and they aren't channel cats. They do taste good however. But I'll take a 3 lb. blue cat from Grand Lake over any of them.
  9. Awesome! Jigfest, less than 2 weeks away...
  10. Sandhill crane is "Ribeye in the sky"? BH, can you verify that statement?
  11. Probably not for a while. Easier than saying you don't agree and giving reasons for not agreeing.
  12. I wanted to go yesterday, but just way too cold for me.
  13. Nice video Phil, what camera are you running? Audio is good and picture quality is also good.

Arkansas deer only have one tooth, so should be an easy ID.
  15. We could convince MDC to loan us one of those hatchery trout tanker trucks, drive it up to Idaho, fill it full of wild rainbows and stop by Taney on the way home and dump them in the river. Or deliver them to a hatchery to use as brood stock as those fish sound like they are very prolific and could be an upgrade to their hatchery brood stock.
  16. Some nice bows, you guys earned them considering the weather.
  17. Would be a great destination for a Jigfest, except for the long drive.
  18. Wow, 6,000 trout per mile. Wish they would've mentioned what average size is.
  19. Very nice chunky bass!
  20. That's an interesting one, I have caught some on Table Rock that are that green in color but don't have a lateral line at all, they look like green smallmouth and maybe that is what they are.
  21. Ugh, no thanks.
  22. I think my understanding is wrong, took a look at the regs and it says you can't have extracted eggs in your possession on the banks or transporting them. So it appears you can take the whole fish home, then take out the eggs. I wonder how you make caviar? Not something I'll ever do, but curious if anyone has made it out of paddlefish eggs and if it tasted any good?
  23. That's my understanding.
  24. The can't keep the eggs regulation is wrong IMO. If you catch one you should be able to keep the eggs.
  25. Didn't mean to speak for Bo, just saw your question was addressed to him.
