  1. That is true. Stay off my lawn!
  2. Yeah based on the picture, I would say white bass. A nice one for sure, but that size is not unusual for Table Rock.
  3. I have one of these also, except mine is a different model. I like it. I have had one issue, the foam handle wrap split and came off fairly quickly.
  4. I'm starting to like winter fishing more and more.
  5. Well for the Major League Baseball All-Star game has a requirement that a player from every team is on the roster. Looking at that list it seems to me that they put a lake in from every state.
  6. Son of a gun! We have a topic named "Big Worms" and yet talk about the Ned rig finds it way in. Just can't get away from it.

Hopefully, for the Sox sake and Craig's, he makes it back. One thing for sure is he is getting paid at a Major League level, $5.5 million this year, $9 million next year, and $11 million the following year.
  8. Stormy Point road - I have to laugh at that one, but that aside, hopefully you won't get any damage from this one.
  9. I almost dragged the boat over to TR today. AT 1015 AM CDT... SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM CRANE TO SELIGMAN... AND MOVING EAST AT 25 MPH. HAZARD... 60 MPH WIND GUSTS. SOURCE... RADAR INDICATED. IMPACT... EXPECT DAMAGE TO ROOFS... SIDING AND TREES. * LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE... BRANSON WEST... CRANE... GALENA... INDIAN POINT... KIMBERLING CITY... REEDS SPRING AND SELIGMAN. THIS WARNING ALSO INCLUDES ROARING RIVER STATE PARK AND TABLE ROCK LAKE. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Kelly just got sent to the minors to join Allen Craig. What a bust of a trade for the Bosox.
  11. Looking at the graph, it looks like they generated for a while yesterday afternoon and haven't since then.
  12. That is really weird, sounds like meth users that were very tweaked.
  13. Well if we have another OA One Bass tourney next March, and as of now I think we will, I don't think you'll see any fall out from these discussions. People on this site are pretty good folks once you meet them in person and I really doubt (and hope) anyone will carry over any hard feelings. Some of the folks on here that have had the strongest things to say are actually some of the best people you will ever meet.
  14. I wonder how long those generators will be down?
  15. Zoom Ol' Monster in Plum is one of my favorites.
  16. You should be fine in a yak, with all the trees in that lake, I can't imagine there will be any skiers or other wake generators out there.
  17. Some very nice OK fish!
  18. You covered some water. Sounds fairly dirty down by point 23.

    What's Brewing?

    Carbonated, that is interesting.
  20. 20 yards is pretty bad. But you're right, best just to leave. If it's any consolation, they are probably lousy fishermen and incapable of finding fish, that's why they pulled in on you. Competent fishermen don't do that stuff.
  21. Yep, a crappie. That pond may be stuffed with them if it doesn't get any pressure. Maybe try slow reeling a white crappie jig a couple of feet under a small cork. That is if you want to target them.
  22. I am already looking forward to the game!
  23. Dolly's are a neat fish. They always were a bit under appreciated.
  24. Sounds tough, at least for catching keepers. Thanks for the update.
  25. Has to be some reel repair places that can fix them. Seems a shame to toss them, outside of the binding issue, they are a great reel.
