  1. I really like the Mustad Elite KVD triple grips for crank baits. Sharp and stout. Seems that I lose fewer fish on them also. I also like Owner size 2 or 3 split rings. They don't deform as easily as some will.
  2. Yep Calipari's sales tactics are hard to beat. Arkansas was dwarfed by Kentucky's size. So many big guys on that team, I think the Harrison boys are both 6'6", pretty tall for college guards. Only weakness I can see is Kentucky's offense. Their shooting is a little weak and they can have trouble with turn overs. Arkansas D played them pretty well in the first half, forced quite a few turnovers - but Arkansas offence failed to take advantage of the turnovers, either turning it over themselves, or missing shots, and they were missing shots mainly due to poor shot selection.
  3. Yep I hear you. 5 more years and I'll be eligible for Social Security.
  4. That is pretty neat. Looked up Shatner on Google. He is now 83 years old, doesn't seem possible.
  5. If you move here to Bella Vista there is a horse shoe league you can join.

    What's Cooking?

I am going to have to make some gumbo, looks very tasty.
  7. Funny how some of the giant browns fall to someone who is not targeting them. I believe the previous world record (before that Great lakes tributary brown) that was caught in AR came on a Velveeta cheese ball. I believe the current WR brown was caught by someone targeting salmon.
  8. Never have heard of anyone getting a brown down lake. They must not wander as much as the rainbows.
  9. Shoveled off my driveway yesterday, now it has a nice coating of ice. I doubt I could get my boat out of the garage, let alone to a lake. Looks like a few more days of this weather and then we're in the clear.
  10. Wow!
  11. Welcome!
  12. Welcome!
  13. That's a healthy spot, congrats on a good day of fishing!
  14. Beat down. Thought they could do better than that.
  15. You'd have to commit to a lot of Road Runner fishing to go through a 1,000 heads.
  16. Pretty slick.
  17. Calendar says March one tomorrow, I am having a hard time believing it.
  18. You know it's a long winter when even the cats are checking out internet fishing sites.
  19. Probably about a 90% chance they lose, but I am hoping for the best.
  20. Couple inches on the ground from yesterday and it's snowing again today. But it looks like at the end of the week this cold weather pattern will finally break.
  21. I have a hard time with those feathered trebs also. I guess a guy could swap them out. Have to see how it works for ab before making any decisions.
  22. Welcome!
  23. Man that is funny.. Never done it myself of course...
  24. MDC does provide managed areas for dove hunting. Check out Talbot conservation area for one.
  25. As I interpret this, only trout must be released in the C&R areas. If there are no exceptions for walleye, then state wide regulations would apply as far as length and number you can keep. " In the following areas, trout must be released immediately. Only artificial lures or flies may be used (natural or scented baits are not allowed). All hooking points must be barbless. Chumming is not allowed. Catching bait with bait tackle is not allowed:"
