  1. Hard to put down the top water if they are eating it!
  2. I thought Riley's did a good job, that place we stayed in was pretty nice.
  3. Yep they are.
  4. Looks like the fishing picked up yesterday. http://webboutdoors.com/central-pro/tournament-results/2014-championship-day-2-results-co-angler-champion-crowned/
  5. I'll be interested to hear how it works for you today (the Duo).
  6. Yep they need some D.
  7. Honey and biscuits, man that is good stuff!
  8. Royals stopped the slide.
  9. Just looked at the scores - BC upset USC. BC rushed for even more yards than the Hogs did.
  10. Watched the Hawgs play Texas Tech, Hawgs can run the ball for sure, I forget the exact number, but they had something like 430 yards rushing. Good win for the Hawgs, I believe they were 4.5 point underdogs. Hawgs are going to be a tough out for other SEC teams. If only they had a defense.
  11. Yikes! Thanks for the warning..
  12. Thanks for the report. September fish are always interesting.
  13. There are a lot of shad in the White channel above the Kings. It's as many as I have ever seen, but the old timers may have seen more at some point in the past. Should not be seeing too many skinny bass.
  14. I did pretty well on tubes last winter on Table Rock. The A-rig is usually catching fish then also, I don't fish it, but guys that do pull in some fish. Jerk bait bite may be on that time of year, but you never know until you get out there and fish.
  15. Well we can't do this without you - so weekend of the 13th of December?
  16. Just to throw some dates out there - How about the weekend of December 6? First weekend after Thanksgiving.
  17. Here's a link to the results for day 1, looks like some tough fishing. http://webboutdoors.com/day-1-championship-results/?utm_medium=facebook&utm_source=twitterfeed
  18. Yeah I'm thinking that would probably would have been smart to try, the SB or a square bill. But it was fun throwing the buzzer. Might have tried downsizing the bait also, but I only have a couple of buzzers and they are all 1/2 oz. Buzzfrog like a Zoom Horny Toad may have worked also. Looks like I have some stuff to try out next time.
  19. LOL, let the rebuilding begin!
  20. I'm open as far as dates, I do like the November/December time frame as the fish sure were biting and as Kyle said, the river was wide open.
  21. They are choking, Red Sox beat them with Napoli, Pedroia, Ortiz, and Holt out of the lineup.
  22. Good deal!
  23. Forgot to say, I saw Mr. Babler out there today and talked to him for a minute. You have to like a guide that goes out on his day off to find fish for his clients that he'll be guiding the next few days.
