I just don't know if they can get any better with Smith at QB. He's just a mediocre QB at best.

Much better than my experience today - caught 4 bass total, 3 early dragging plastics and one on the Duo. Saw lots of shad, but never ganged up in one spot like Bill described. Caught a 3 lb. flathead, made the mistake of letting him flop around on the front deck, that sucker left more slime than you'd get from a 100 bass. I saw lots of 6" bass today, once when I was bringing the Duo in, I had about a dozen of them follow it in, kind of funny, a few of them slashed at the bait, but none of them grabbed it, they just swam behind it up to the boat. Hopefully a good sign for the future.

Good deal, like to see that top water bite going.

Running game was weak also, hard to see any bright spots in this one.

Guthrie threw one pitch last night and suffered some kind of shoulder issue. Not good, they need him.

I spent a day at Dinosaur National Monument about 20 years ago, don't know what it's like today, but then it was somewhat overlooked and off the beaten path. Hiked into the back country, didn't see another person all day. Very scenic, interesting geology. I'd like to go back some day.
