  1. KVD is now on the board, 5 for 14lbs. Mark Davis ain't doing to well.
  2. Hard to say, his marshal could be having cell connection issues. Hard to believe he hasn't caught at least one keeper.
  3. They should have at least given you a free jersey.. Chapman is already culling..
  4. I imagine many of you know about this app, but if not, you can get a snapshot of current weights on this link. http://www.bassmaster.com/tournaments/basstrakk
  5. Heck, you should have sent F&F a PM asking for info, he'd probably have dialed you in, he's very generous with info. If he puts that location on the forum, there will be a 100 guys on his spot.
  6. I bought a replacement Tm battery from battery Warehouse in Rogers that Champ mentions. Even though the original didn't come from there, they honored the pro-rated warranty no questions asked. Good folks to deal with.
  7. Hmmm, I wonder if it's a show that does a lot of underwater filming....
  8. Over 90 lbs.? That would be something. I hear ripping those Traps out of grass is a popular technique on that lake. Sounds like a lot of fun.
  9. This is like Babe Ruth calling that home run.
  10. Yeah crazy windy today, I didn't even think of going fishing.
  11. Great story, good on Buster! I'd like to know what show it is just so I can watch it, but I guess if you name the show, we'll be able to figure out who the host is.
  12. Thanks Hazbin, I'm fortunate to be retired and can put time in on the water, I'm just an average hack, guys like Bill Babler and some of the regulars that have been fishing that area for a while can always remind me of how much more I have to learn. You must have seen someone else, I was out of the water at 1:30. I've got a black/silver Phoenix with a 200 Opti. Feel free to stop by and say hi if you see me out there.
  13. Thanks for the report, that's a good day. I didn't catch a single spot yesterday.
  14. Yep what Bill says, if you can find them, there may be more than one. Also there were a lot of boats up the White yesterday, it's getting hit hard.
  15. It looks to me they are on a path to the NCAA"s, who knows, they get in and get the right match ups where their guards can shine, hit those threes, they could win a game or three.
  16. That's one of the glaring problems with college hoops these days, the one and done or two and done mentality of top players. It's so tough to build a team out of players that are going to stay 4 years and be a winning program. The top recruits see college hoops as a stepping stone to the NBA. It would be interesting to follow one of the top recruits through the recruiting process and record the spiels the coaches give them. I'd love to hear Calipari's spiel.
  17. I'm not sure I want to go out and equip myself with all the little rig stuff. I am thinking it may be about time to break out the finesse jig.
  18. Best depth was around 20 feet. I didn't see any shad yesterday either in the water or on the finder. No bird activity either.
  19. I can see if you were in downtown Springfield and whizzing on the sidewalk, that a ticket would be in order, but hard to believe they would write up a couple of guys whizzing in the woods.
  20. Wow, some nice trout!
  21. Man that is a beast of a bow!
  22. I T-rig also, well Texpose, with the hook point exposed just out of the skin. I believe in that pic, the weight is under the fish. I'm using 3/0 hooks, Mustad Big Mouth tube hooks, with a 3/8 oz weight. The bites, for the most part, are very light and hard to detect. If you miss the bite, they drop it.
  23. I launched out of Big M at 0700 this morning and fished until 1 PM. Did find a bite, I fished a point on a cove mouth that had some deep trees and caught 10 bass off that one point. All but one came on a tube, the exception came on a Megabass 110. Fished a whole lot of other places and only caught 2 more bass, those 2 came from inside a cove off a rocky bank. All the bass were largemouth, no spots or smallies. Nothing big, 13-16" fish. I saw Mr. Babler out there and talked to him for a bit (nice meeting you Bill). He had caught some fish and I believe he said one of them was 6 lbs. Hopefully he'll have time to give us an update. Water temp - 38-40 degrees.
