    Take Out

I need to get to Wally World and buy all the watermelon red finesse worms before Trophy gets there. BUWAHAHAH....hold on a sec...don't know what Wally World he buys his worms at...dang!
  3. Didn't see it, it was past my bedtime. Nice to see the Cards take 2 out of 3 from the Reds.
  4. Carpenter and Freese both extended their streaks last night.
  5. You're right Jerry, you'd think they would make it a couple of thousand better to be in 10th rather than 11th. Heck, even 21st, meaning you're done after two days isn't that far from 10th.
  6. Good reminder, as a matter of fact I think I'll take a look at my bunks next time I put the boat in the water. Sorry to see you suffered some damage.
  7. They certainly have some depth in their pitching staff. I believe that they drafted a couple of left handers with their 1st two picks in last weeks draft.
  8. Wow, the guy is en fuego this year! Ol' Jimmy Houston came in 4th. I heard that Christie was flipping bushes and throwing cranks. http://www.flwoutdoors.com/bassfishing/flw/tournament/2013/6947/grand-lake-professional-results/
  9. Wow, nothing beats a good SM topwater bite! Hard to tell, but it looks like in that last pic, the gentleman on the right is holding a pretty good sized Meanmouth. Just curious as to what the biggest Meanie you've seen Bill in your years of guiding?
  10. Somebody will make some money, no doubt.
  11. Read in today's AR Gazette that the Feds are announcing a new plan to add approximately 125,000 acres to the White River NWR. One of the funding primary sources is revenue from Federal Duck stamp sales.
  12. Yeah unfortunately they find their way up there. Was the swim bait working?
  13. I believe Carpenter is at 17 games and Freese at 18. As well as the Birds are playing, the Reds are hanging in there.
  14. There's about 50 honkers hanging around the Big M ramp. They need some serious thinning out.
  15. I like the looks of the "Ghost minnow" color, but $25 for a standard size is a long drink of water. Even so, I'm tempted...

  17. I've seen a few spoonies get some air at able Rock lately.
  18. Yes, please, put the hammer on those spiny things, LOL.
  19. You should be able to buy the pass at the same place as the drop box, but the attendant will not be on duty at 0530, they keep office hours. Sorry, can't help you with the signage, never launched at Mill Creek.
  20. I'm always fishing out of a boat, but I think it will be tough to find good bass fishing from the bank in late July/August at Table Rock. There might be other lakes/rivers nearby that will offer bank access, maybe one of the other guys will chime in with some recommendations.
  21. I've heard of those Mikeys, I'm hoping that it works for you on the Rock. If it does, send me a PM, don't let the other guys know
  22. Hmmmm, braid. I have a reel spooled with some but I believe it is 65#. Worth a try, I was always worried braid on a surface bait would spook the fish.
  23. Thanks Bill for sharing your knowledge. Looks like it is getting time to start fishing the drop shot.
  24. June 7th I was on the Rock, had a great early morning top water bite, then things really slowed down, I left at 1130 AM. I looked at the generation chart for 6/7, low generation until 1100, then they started running water for the ret of the day. I'm just wondering if the fishing might have picked up later in the day due to the increased flow? Anyone notice any change in the fishing in the lake when they're running water? Chart for the day. 5th column is a measure of current flow (CFS), notice how it jumps at 1100. 07JUN2013 0100 918.20 708.33 7023 106 07JUN2013 0200 918.22 707.69 9532 150 07JUN2013 0300 918.25 704.48 7996 124 07JUN2013 0400 918.23 703.81 1810 27 07JUN2013 0500 918.20 703.66 1734 26 07JUN2013 0600 918.19 703.65 1740 26 07JUN2013 0700 918.21 703.65 1736 26 07JUN2013 0800 918.24 703.62 1737 26 07JUN2013 0900 918.23 704.28 1728 26 07JUN2013 1000 918.20 707.70 2480 37 07JUN2013 1100 918.20 708.52 8421 132 07JUN2013 1200 918.16 708.73 9472 149 07JUN2013 1300 918.16 708.72 9843 155 07JUN2013 1400 918.15 708.79 9658 152 07JUN2013 1500 918.12 708.70 10099 159 07JUN2013 1600 918.15 708.84 9786 154
