    Same buddy that killed them a couple of days ago had a very tough day yesterday. They would not touch a crank. Fog and no wind early.

    Some of those hunting shows are funny. I remember one where a guy shot some kind of rare African antelope on one of those TX high fence deals. The "guide" drove the hunter down a dirt road to the pasture where the antelope were grazing in a pasture. The hunter sets up his rifle on the hood of the jeep and shoots one of the antelope. I'm guessing you'd pay at least $10,000 for that 'experience'. To each his own, but that would not be for me even if I had Bill Gates type money.

    Sounds like a great vacation! Have you ever fished for tarpon? One of these days I'm going to head to FL to do some tarpon fishing.

    I haven't been out to TR since Monday, but a buddy was out yesterday and had a really good day on cranks.

    Never have liked the fishing shows where they fish a private lake and talk about what a great lure they are throwing. If they want to sell me a lure, film your show on Table Rock or better yet, Beaver and show me how it does on the highly pressured lakes we fish.

    Little Sugar creek has quite a bit of access from the concrete bike trail that you can access off of HWY 71. Smallies, spots and panfish in the creek. You won't catch any giants, but you should find some action. Where the creek runs through the BV golf course is not accessible, but above and below there's quite a bit of access, you'll just have to get out and poke around to find it.

    Timely topic considering there is a BPS bow fishing tourney May 1 and 2 that encompasses Table Rock, Truman, and Bull Shoals.

    One would think, that for $1,147, a lure would be ready to fish right out of the box and you would not have to wait for the leather to "absorb water". If the date was 4/1 then I'd call this whole thing an April's Fool prank.

    For $1,147 you should get any color you want, however I think it only comes in white.

    Yeah why not kill off the other fragile grasses and shoot for a yard of nothing but Kentucky crab grass? Then a guy can spend his time fishing instead of pampering some hard to grow variety of grass.

    BPS spent $3,000 to "decontaminate" the tank after Florida Man's swim. If I was Florida Man, I'd be a little insulted.

    Actually it looks like back to back one day events, I think one of them was a make up for a cancellation earlier this year. Day one was won by Wesley Rogers with 19-12 James Watson finished 3rd with 18-07 Day 2, Watson won with 20-03, he had a good two days of fishing. Results - Major League Fishing

    Yep, you've done it again - it is snowing and there is actually some accumulation.

    I fished them a bit last year, had one day where they worked fairly well. However I didn't see them as being more effective than the 1/2 Zinker as a Ned bait. However that's just from fishing them a couple of times, more research is needed. 😁

    I saw the first toon-pulling-kids-on-a-tube I've seen this year too yesterday. You'd think getting wet in upper 50's water and then getting air dried in the wind would be a bit chilly, but those kids sounded like they were having fun. Maybe they are down on vacation from Minnesota so it seems like mid-summer to them.

    I looked first thing in the morning and it was 55, but that was over deep water.
