Yep, one of those deals where you get a bite, set the hook, and then using your extra heavy flipping stick, and 65 lb. braid, reel in a big ball of weeds that has a bass hidden in there somewhere. Doesn't look like much fun to me, but to each his own.
First off, congrats on your marriage tomorrow!
Wow, that's a scary thing, having a couple of armed folks come down to confront you at night on the river bank, glad to hear nothing bad happened. it will be interesting to hear how this turns out.
I agree, it's not that harsh of a cold front and the bass are not on beds yet. Water temp is low 50's and it's supposed to hit mid fifties tomorrow. Fish will be caught.
Thanks for that review of the Berkley floro. I use Invisx, on my spinning reels that I spool with floro and am happy with it. But, it ain't cheap. I'll be interested to see where the Berkley is priced.
5 million $ a year??? WTH! The mind is boggled.
Do you think he'll "pick up and leave"? Who would give him a better deal? You're stuck with him for 5 years, unless he gets in a motorcycle crash involving a blonde that is not his wife.
