    Yep, one of those deals where you get a bite, set the hook, and then using your extra heavy flipping stick, and 65 lb. braid, reel in a big ball of weeds that has a bass hidden in there somewhere. Doesn't look like much fun to me, but to each his own.

    I haven't seen many skinny TR spots, they are all fat and healthy. I don't know if keeping more of them would lead to a better overall size.

    First off, congrats on your marriage tomorrow! Wow, that's a scary thing, having a couple of armed folks come down to confront you at night on the river bank, glad to hear nothing bad happened. it will be interesting to hear how this turns out.

    I saw something in the blog that mentioned Davis was having a good day, but it did not say if he has a limit.

    There's a pic of Mark Davis holding what looks to be a 4 -5 lb. fish that he picked up today.

    Stacey does not fish the Elite series. And that's too bad, I'd like to see him out there this week.

    I agree that it may not be better than today, but it's not going to be a total shut down either. I bet you do good tomorrow.

    I agree, it's not that harsh of a cold front and the bass are not on beds yet. Water temp is low 50's and it's supposed to hit mid fifties tomorrow. Fish will be caught.

    Wind was good to me the last couple of times I fished, but my bags wouldn't give you the weight you need to win this thing.

    Thanks for that review of the Berkley floro. I use Invisx, on my spinning reels that I spool with floro and am happy with it. But, it ain't cheap. I'll be interested to see where the Berkley is priced.

    Upper end is right in the middle of it. Showing some red on the radar. You're right, it's like it's attracted to the lake or something.

    5 million $ a year??? WTH! The mind is boggled. Do you think he'll "pick up and leave"? Who would give him a better deal? You're stuck with him for 5 years, unless he gets in a motorcycle crash involving a blonde that is not his wife.
