  1. Are the Rams playing??
  2. Go with the double doors.
  3. I always recommend it for the women. Snappers.....
  4. We pavement can be pretty slick if you don't spend the cash on good tires.
  5. Some women, practice does not increase their skills...... I am talking about cooking. The internet has brought better eating to this household thru my connection and efforts. She sticks to cleanup detail.
  6. Are the Rams Playing?
  7. Probably a rabid possum. Should not be out in daylight looking for anything.
  8. Why didn't you buy a lift and stack them on top of each other. I have customers that have done that.
  9. I use the "wonder cloth" to polish brass and other metals. I doubt it will be good on a fly line.

    New Hat

Gas hit $1.99 a gallon in St Louis today and we are almost at war with OPEC. Last 2 we had it would be at $8.00 a gallon because of the scare. Middle East is finally getting won.
  11. Yes you will, and it will be many years before you can enjoy them again. But, sometimes you live thru it. My best advice, listen to the doc and follow his instructions. He has the training to get you thru it. And they can get you thru it. But, when all is said and done, we all will have to die. You have a great chance of getting killed in a car wreck driving to the treatments that far each day in the traffic.
  12. We used to hang dead crows out to attack others. When I shoot crows, I try to wing the first one. Its crippled calls and flopping around keeps the others around for additional kills. May want to try it on the cowbirds and starlings.
  13. I also clean the rod and guides from time to time. The buildup around the guides slows things down too, wears on the line. Toothbrush and soapy water.
  14. 303. Knew there was a 3 on it. Is it still around? Some of my Orvis lines are from back in the 90's. I have a grey double taper and an HLS that I like. Warm water lines get replaced more often.
  15. 3M made an equivalent to Armorall years back, I can't remember the exact name. It never caught on with the auto industry, but worked great on fly lines. I used to by it in single use pads and would last several trips. Most of the problems are dirt and grit. Hard water, slime, and other gunk from water build up on the line. I have a Loon product I use now. Its pure silicone probably.
  16. Looks like they may have been right about the rain water........ Was it running off your asbestos roof, they may have a channel on Dish for that.
  17. How about an angry one. What I have to deal with when we get flash floods.
  18. An attack on a personal vehicle creates a carjacking, stand your ground situation. I am equipped for that.
  19. It will filter out. Burning hydrocarbons generate some moisture too.
  20. Let me see, get a ticket and take a "defensive" driving test and you walk??? Someone pulls out in front of me, I speed up to force them to realize the mistake. Someone uses the center turn lane as an acceleration lane, race is on. Someone stops at each leg of a round about, horn blows profusely. Was any of that on the Defensive Lesson?
  21. Water is a constant, it evaporates into air, condenses as rain, as far as I know never escapes the atmosphere into space. I think there is the same amount on earth as we have had for a long time. It may be spread out more. It can be made.
  22. Seventies and Eighties was a prime time for music. Aerosmith, REO, Fleetwood Mac, Styx are other greats.
  23. Pain is just a figment of your imagination. Some people remember it more than others.
  24. My Uncle has this country place, That no one knows about.......
  25. Neil Peart, the drummer of Rush, has died at age 67 from Brain Cancer. Grandson recognized his work as soon as I started playing "Tom Sawyer" on the laptop. Geddy Lee made the noise, Alex thumped the strings, Neil made the sound. His drum set was pretty amazing.
