    I had planned on getting there at daylight in hopes of some Striper top water action but I missed that by about 6 hrs and was hurting from my sun burn so I checked out before the evening top water bite .

    Launched at the Dam around noon and fished til 6:30 chasing walleyes only got 3 with two being keepers , caught them pulling bouncers and crawler harnesses...20 ft was where I caught them up in creeks .

    A bad stator can ruin you from placing in the top three of tournament with a good limit of walleyes? also , learned what a stator was that day.

    When I renewed last year the lady told me what was coming so I put a note with my registration paper in the dry box I keep them in.

    Anyone ever fish there for crappies?......saw a show there last year Krappie Kings I think anyway son has wanted to fish it ever since we saw it .....working near the lake so I drove over and took a look .....no wake I see , looks like might be more of a pain than worth but maybe not if crappie fishing is decent.

    Saturday I was in Clifty arm and up near point 6 and never saw a thermocline.
