Is the lack of required flotation for 20 ft + a concern? The 1648 includes flotation. Thank you.

Factors kept me from fishing the past two years. Ready to start again. Appreciate this forum. Generally in the past I have only launched from Eagle Rock to various Hwy 13 ramps (Mill Creek, Kimberling City). I would like to try other areas to the east - Is the Old Hwy 86 a good/safe ramp? On Google earth the parking is more than Long Creek. Thank you for your help
