  1. Dang Mike. I just now seen your PM.
  2. It's not a production JD. It is a bee circus. I will start a thread later on what is going on. Having fun and winging it as I go.
  3. Hundreds a day. It gets real crazy and noisy.
  4. Here you go John, Put the 7 in there too. These are the small block Griswold.
  5. Last bunch are BSR, Good well made skillets They had Red mountain and Century series skillets. Actually same skillet but there was a time when casting process became automated. A Red mountain #8 and have a lid for it (pending). Lids can be hard to find but ladies and gents we have a match. 30 for it. Three # 7's for 20 each and three #5's for 15 each. Another deal. BSR skillets number like other skillets size wise but actually run a bit larger.
  6. Yes will post a pic and no none that are still cruddy.
  7. You use all means to get that boy of yours a trout. No purists here that will say anything about that deal. Those fish are stocked there to be caught by any legal means. Good luck and we want to see your Son with a big smile!
  8. We went through over 50 pounds of sugar last year feeding. Love the little guys.
  9. More, Lets go Griswold this time. Small Block logo. One number 8 late handle 1944 to 1957. Need 25 bucks . Then two number 7's and one number 6 25 bucks each on those. Now Wagner ware. These with be the stylized logo with the 4 digit pattern number on the bottom. All circa 1935 to 1959. I have three # 6's 25 each, three number 5's 25 each and three # 3's for 15 each. Then one post 1960 that just says Wagner (missing Sidney -O- ) #8 for 20 bucks. Be back soon with last listing of BSR (Birmingham Stove and Range)
  10. Fist off thanks for looking, Been threatening to do this for sometime. My fellow OAF members and friends here get their picks before I go on the open market. Ok my idea of the open market is the local farmers market which I just don't want to do so help me out please. Some of these pieces by the time I put time in the restoration and seasoning process I am in the whole and some I am making a bit. Not much as you will see in my prices. What you won't see here is my special finds and daily cooking pieces. Those will phase out sometime as I add others I desire. There may be a couple here from the 70s and a couple mid 60s the rest are pre 60s to possibly mid to early 30s. All are ready to cook in and in excellent shape. If anyone wants pictures I will post if asked or send to you Via a PM if you want to be stealthy or are embarrassed and are afraid you will be shamed for dealing with me . Where to start? How about Lodge? The only one left that is still producing cast Iron in their name. All I am posting is the slick non gritty skillet type. Not a fan of the new stuff. We are talking the 3 notch style I have one number 10s A post 60s with the egg in the skillet logo. Slick bottom. 35 bucks each. Two 7s for 20 each , three 6s for 20 each , three 5s for 15 each and a # 4. 4's of any size are hard to find. In all my hunting I have had only four #4s in any brand in my hands. Got to have 20 bucks for this one. Then one of those sectioned off cornbread skillets. It has the gritty type finish. Mint condition 20 bucks. I will post another brand a bit later. Coming up some Griswold , Wagner and Birmingham stove and range.
  11. Funny the honeybees don't really do much in the vegetable garden. We have other pollinators that do a good job in the garden though. As far as bees I have bees lots of bees they fly out daily to who knows where. Like other fauna they have the knowledge to utilize what they are provided in certain times of the season.
  12. A bunch here early tho1mas. Then the little guys practically vanished. Last several days booming back in. I wondered two things. Nesting and we were real wet and lots of natural food around.. Then in our area we have became dry, really dry. Grass turning brown and the farmers with irrigation are using it. Maybe the birds food source is drying up?
  13. Yes some of this stuff needs locked up!
  14. Iron before felt always. All that work I do to clean, restore and season I don't want to waste. Stacking your skillets is not a good idea unless you have something in between. Less of a chance rust will happen. Not a must but recommended until a good carbon layer develops on your cooking surface. Depending on where the skillet is on the stack you choose you will receive a complementary piece of felt or paper towels. it is a crap shoot, roll of the dice or happenstance to see which one you get 🤣.
  15. And another thing too! Right here in my living room a pile of cast iron skillets for sale. You might know something about that @Terrierman. 😁 Living rooms are multi functional.
  16. And may I add another thing? It is a living room right? @Daryk Campbell Sr is living right? Living his dream! Right there in his living room! Go Daryk!
  17. Hey lay off the poor guy! We lived in an old trailer house for years I put a tarp in the tiny living room and made my first self bow. A draw knife and Osage orange shavings right there in the house. Then there was the same deal learning to flint knap. Chert chips right there in the living room. Now there has been more throughout the years. This Spring Pat painted on one of the bee hives here in the house. More on that deal another time!

  19. Pretty neat little project Daryk! I have a buddy who made a pirogue. He did it with the zip tie stich method and luan board. He did fiberglass his. It turned out really nice.
  20. That is pretty neat. Might have to look closer to that. It is like a circus here all the time. Never know what you might see. Just did a walk in the yard,
  21. Trail cams are for more things than hunting. It is just flat arse fun to see things that are going on when you are not able to be there.
  22. And while sneaking around put out a trail cam
