Going to start calling you the Hugh Heffner of Johnson County. BilletHead

That is pretty cool and your old buddy Gavin is in the front row! BilletHead

It's a fact! used to wear a hard hat in my profession. Then when I had to quit I decided to do away with the hair. Now it looks like I get into a fight with a briar bush daily. Sometimes got to let it heal a day or two before the next scalping, BilletHead

Only if he wants splinters. Singing peas porrage hot, peas porrage cold, peas porrage in the pot nine days old. BilletHead

Going to try a single battery for occasional trolling with starting? Go as light as possible man. Less equals more for performance. I am still learning the ways of the jet. Hole shot and getting on plane in dicy places is your primary objective. Speed is secondary and not necessary unless you are in a race. .

Yes electric is nice but always be thinking of what extra stuff you increase load with. Batteries weigh a bunch. Do you plan on it in the back or front under that deck?

Ours are half price today only. A buck a pair or two for two. Shipping and handling extra .

Circling a pot of pea porrage. That would be creamed pea porrage to boot! BilletHead.

I heard she may be a cousin twice removed of our friend Ness. That would explain a lot.

Turn your ball cap around it may blow off on the test ride. BilletHead

Looks like you are on your way to a possible solution. Getting on plane, maybe not so fast but I have found the slower I go the better the fishing and catching at times. BilletHead

Good answer OAF scientist. Mrs BilletHead is the BilletHeads Delialah. But in the poor trout case the adipose clippers are the Delialah MDC peoples. BilletHead

I know every time Mrs. BilletHead shaves my head I run into things. Got the scars to prove it. So maybe this is proof Wrench . BilletHead

Another Adventure by the BilletHead's UTAH!
BilletHead replied to BilletHead's topic in U.S.A. - South & West Regions
Ok if you all promise to laugh we are going to go retro! So we will do some photos from 25 years ago from Jones Hole. Remember you agreed to not bust a gut laughing . I will start by a link to Petroglyphs and Pictrographs in Dinosaur National Monument, https://www.nps.gov/dino/learn/historyculture/viewing-petroglyphs-and-pictographs.htm I am thinking because of loosing pigment someone has changed the horned figure we seen carved into the rock from this trip report. From a pictrograph to a petroglyph. Here I am from 25 years ago when the horned figure was pigment. My photos are faded and crappy I know, Another one and so many are now gone forever except for photos taken way back. The one I have in this picture is in the link above, Now to old memories from that time, Ely falls where we cooled of in my post from this trip except this is from 25 years in the past. The BilletHead bride, The BilletHead's eating lunch, may of been tuna back then too. BilletHead Jr. was on the back end of the camera. We did get some pictures of him too but here in Jones Hole he stayed pretty hidden. Mostly looking for critters, playing in the water or dirt, Pretty amazing. I think I may still have those canvas wading shoes somewhere. All right you all wipe those grins off of your faces. Memories were being made back then. I discussed with BilletHead Jr. about this and if he remembered all this. Yep he said. Guess a guy should scan all the old pictures he has and transfer to a memory stick and lock in a safety deposit box before pictures like this are gone. Everyone needs a laugh now and again except you guys, BilletHead -
Another Adventure by the BilletHead's UTAH!

I found a picture. I mean the Mrs. did of one we took many moons ago in that canyon. If I can take a picture of a picture or scan it I will. Pretty dramatic difference from the ones we took this year. I am disappointed the NPS did not take precautions protecting this precious resource. A real shame, BilletHead -
Ed, Hope you find the motor you want but be very careful in the quest you undertaking. If you are going to put it on your 1448 it will be heavy. I had a 1648 riveted just like you have and it was rated for a 35 max. I put on a 40 hp. prop. It would run like a banshee but started developing a crack or two in the back corners. The guy who bought it off me got it welded and it is still going to this day. The recommendations for your rig says 25hp. max. I see you are a super good fisherman and know what you are doing but just cannot not say what I think. Not being a turd just concerned. My 1648 would take on water over the back if you stopped too fast or got on a lake with some waves. I like what you did making your deck, BilletHead

Wasn't thinking of doing dry run. I know the rules . Did Arkansas a couple times with the now gone Richard. The picture at his memorial service was one I took of him and a brown he caught down there. As far as catching the cuts down there yep it would be fun but I have to tell you it isn't the same as where they live in their native waters. I would go just to click my clicker with the Hamster . Good deal John, Livie and the Hamanator, Thanks for the pre report via texts. Was waiting for this official one. Ham is a good fellow to take folks fishing and we have discussed that before. Maybe he will feel sorry for an old want to be flyfisher and take him if he delivers a chestnut orchard or forest, Billethead

Wouldn't admit to it, BilletHead
