  1. No would not love it. You totally missed the point of what I said anyway.
  2. Great report Jeff!
  3. Where is the miserable piece of machinery? 😁
  4. No ads here either.
  5. Guess it's how you comprehend flyfishing. I cast with my dominate side which is the right. Don't want to change hands for reeling. In my pea brain it's a no brainer and assume handle is on the left side. I don't see on fly reel boxes where it says anything about right or left-handed. On bait casters I think they are marked Right or left-hand retrieve.
  6. Let me know Jeff please.
  7. No but CAM can use some.

    What's Brewing?

That is one of my favorite beers. I don't drink except with meals and even then it's maybe once a week average. BUT when I am doing a special meal that is my go-to! Have not had one in a couple months and now I want one. Yes one is enough.
  9. Just how many modern spinning and fly reels are made now you cannot switch the handle easily? I know when I am looking at an older vintage reel some cannot be changed. Edit, Sorry @oneshot 1 should have stayed on the point here. Still praying for you.
  10. Same for Pat and me. Don't want a machine making me take breaths.
  11. Note to self. If I ever fish or be around Milo watch out he can be dangerous. 😆
  12. The concert was amazing. Three original members and seven assorted others. They all put on quite a show. Two guitars, three brass instrument players. Two keyboards and one of those played with the Who. One drummer and one with a multitude of percussion instruments with more drums with sticks and hand. Then vocalists but they all did that. We have never been to something like this with so many multitalented guys. The three original guys have been at it for 57 years and they could move. Other than the 30 minute break they never stopped playing one song melded into another. They had you standing as much as sitting. I won't forget this one for sure. Packed audience and they interacted with all including the nose bleed section. We were eight rows behind the orchestra pit.
  13. I need one of those. It would have to be a pan forest though.
  14. We used the Neptune on Taney. Next time we made that trip we borrowed a four horse Martin outboard. Crazy young days. Forty plus years ago I actually think 44 or 45. I know our son wasn't born yet and he is 43.
  15. Hey @Ham and @FishnDave. We were at the Asian market today. Found some of your fish in the freezer section. If I would of had the fly rod I would of done a hero shot. 😀 Forgot to add the picture.😆
  16. He is still counting and prepping photos!
  17. Hey it will push better than that 1 1/2 horse Neptune outboard I had when starting my boat journey.
  18. Pm me if you need a location, we fished in the winter.
  19. In the good old days, we had a shotgun in the back window of the truck so we could hunt on the way home.
  20. Fun! A friend of mine and was a previous OAF Member Richard Button And a from a recommendation from @gotmuddy went to the San Bernard River near to where it dumps into the gulf in Texas. Man we had a great time. Catching so many on the fly and spinning gear when it was impossible to cast the fly rod. Next year Richard again went with @gotmuddy, @Ham and @grizwilson. Richard and I on our trip. Boy I miss that guy. Those redfish are pretty tasty. Thanks @dpitt for posting and bringing back memories from 2014

  22. Nothing yet in Vernon County but we were in Hickory County, west side and they were everywhere. got a handful and pitched them into a friend's pond that has bluegill and hybrid bluegill. Looked like piranha gobbling them up.
