  1. Sounds really good Jeff! We are hoping this is winters last big squeeze for one more really cold spell.
  2. And I will be ready for that Dutch. forecast low now for this Wednesday night is -10. We could do without this.
  3. They have quite a variety Ham.
  4. Wear pink you will be fine and the local MEN and women will love you. 😆
  5. Hippie stompers are the bomb. As you know the driftless browns like them. Speaking of the driftless I could use a spotted cow right now. 😁
  6. I did know that you were quite the gardener Dutch. If Pat had a sunroom like yours it would end up like a jungle!
  7. Sun room and heat equals growing something edible. Pat had a young doctor she worked for years ago. She had a sunroom attached to her kitchen. She wanted some tomato plants. We bought her a big pot and I planted a sweet 100 cherry tomato plant. Put it outside. It produced all summer. In the fall she put it in the sunroom. It was crazy but she had tomatoes all winter. Outside in the spring again she got some into the summer. Finally it died.
  8. Dang right we do. I know we have several CDs
  9. I always knew you were an American standard!
  10. That's easy, The one feeding the little wrenches is sugarbritches. @fishinwrench is right there in the middle of the nest between the youngest wrenches.

  13. I was calling this a sculpin streamer. Forever now the "Grinch bug" I asked our friend why? He said my grandkids would call it a Grinch because of the color. Alrighty then. I had an idea for this swap but went through a couple prototypes until I decided this was the one. B10S #8, inverting tungsten bead, thread, small wire for the ribbing and pine squirrel strips and peeled the face and substandard strips for the dubbing used. The head/pectoral fin area and body behind is olive chartreuse UV dyed. I did use a black sharpie to dull that down some but still shows under the UV cure light. These little guys ride hook up. The sink test went well on the prototype. I will post that separate so maybe it won't downgrade so much. A couple pictures will be double showing the UV color. You can strip, jig, bounce on the bottom or dead drift. They will catch more than trout I guarantee. Right at an inch and a half inches long.
  14. @Lancer09, Pat and I are ready to mail like @Ham. Hope you are stopping at nine. I am ready for you to stop at nine as I am tired of tying these. My friend was over yesterday. I have a generic name for them, he called them a grinch bug 🤪. So, for now on these are grinch bugs. I will post a pic or several. HA!
  15. 75$ was expensive back then but have you priced tickets that are not in the nosebleed section lately?
  16. When Richard and I were down there fishing in Texas. Along the intercoastal waterway and San Bernard river every house along that area had outboards in their yards lined up. like junk on fences. I assume each were two years old now.
  17. Way cool Pete, Living the dream!
  18. Is he going uphill or downhill? Any way you look at it one of those ways is uphill. John, I like your idea much better.
  19. I understood that in what you had said. It wasn't just a fly that cuts the mustard as far as quality in the first tyes, it was what I wanted in the end of type of fly I visioned. "Tweaking the pattern" When we started tying those thread midge pupae we tried all kinds of colors and flash just to see the effect.
  20. Thanks Cody, In one way or another we were blessed to meet him.
  21. I feel your pain Tjm. I picked my pattern. Took me three to get exactly what I envisioned. Those three will work but I will keep those for Pat and I. Now I have three more and working on the forth of the eight needed for the swap.
  22. You know Cody I was hoping you would chime in. I don't know anyone that didn't like Richard. He and I could have some real disagreements and could still like each other. Funny I made this post and the next day I got an alert it was Micah's birthday. Richards oldest grandson. We got to basically watch Micah grow up to a fine young man. No wonder because Micah came from some good stock.
