I don't farcebook. Some are pessimists and follow pessimists. The doom and gloom bunch. If I were a farcebook follower I would be of the optimist kind. I try to walk the sunny side of the street.

It was so neat watching the fawn yesterday. It never moved at all. Last time I checked it was 3 PM. Went into shop for a little bit. Out at 4 and mother had returned and took fawn. I am sure we will see this one again plus others.

Lets go back two years. I would be happy.

Pat said early this morning a doe was acting funny in the front yard. We have been watching several in the little clover plot every evening out back. Fat does ready to birth. They waddle around like a pregnant woman so I knew it would be soon. I made a circle of our yard. Ended up by the bee hives . Turned to the bird bath and seen a patch of brown right in front of the house. Sure enough the old doe had stashed one in the safest place around. Another blessing, It is here right under bird bath between the Mexican oregano and lemon thyme.

Finally have the garden done. Crazy weather. Lettuce ready to start picking, Full bed of assorted peppers, More peppers and a bunch of tomatoes, Wildflower patch doing well. Coreopsis and Shasta daisies in full bloom and behind it the pale purple coneflower is about to burst out. Coming on strong the butterfly milkweed is still green but buds forming.

3X ? Way , way more than that depending on how far back you go. Was able to get a 2x4 stud on sale many moons ago for 88 cents. Now over 7 bucks. Almost 10 bucks for a premium 8 foot 2x4 and you better be ready to dig through the pile to find one that is premium. I built three Layens bee hives this spring and each day I bought prices jumped big time.

Well I feel for you. When you said Popeye muscle I then knew exactly what you were dealing with. We know have something in common. I have a roached left shoulder. Needs replaced. Rotator surgery many years ago. Now replacement only option. Well had a doctor tell me I had Popeye muscle. I said I figured it was atrophy because I was not able to normally use that shoulder. Nope you have ripped your bicep. What do I do? Nothing to do. When I decide to replace shoulder someday can it be fixed? Nope don't think so he reported. I have no idea when I did this. My shoulder hurts all the time so it just showed up.. Look familiar Pete? Abnormal Bicep, Normal for me right bicep,

Someone else did the cooking for a change. We don't go out to eat, just don't. Carryout a pizza maybe four times a year but that is about it. So I am guessing a couple years ago. Well it was time. Pat has been off this week and rain everyday it has sucked. Today we did a circuit at some of our favorite flea markets. I scored on some cast iron and Pat found some Fiesta Ware Kryptonite to both of us. I got a lead on a place to eat Prime Rib. A small place in Montrose. The Short Street Tavern. Going early and with the Covid restrictions letting up did not feel so apprehensive going in to eat. Very good! There is enough left for each of us two more meals. These slices were a good two inches thick.

Gosh it has been awhile since I gave an update. Growing like gangbusters. 2019 and 2020 lots of nuts. Catkins and now on and getting longer. Soon they will fuzz out and the beetles and bugs will pollinate. Don't know when I last updated but bees do not work over the catkins. Mostly beetles do the work. You can go back in the post and compare how they have grown. some of the trunk bases are close to 8 inches in diameter now. Maybe more did not put a rule across them.

@FishnDave Would we need 50000 grain full sink line to get to depth?
