Been one of those days here but did manage a pretty good meal. Something old yesterday and something new today,
Today it was confit of duck with pasta and lemon. Sides of oven roasted cauliflower and steamed baby carrots. The duck leg confit has been done sometime ago. Part of it eaten and some had been in freezer in duck fat just awaiting a dish like this. Easy to make since confit was ready to go. A bit of the duck fat in the pasta made it silky smooth and same with the meat part, Yesterdays meal I have posted before. Have been visiting with another forum member and friend last couple of days. We talked food what he was cooking today and what we had cooked yesterday. His dish for today sounded real yummy. What we had I have posted a couple times before. I told him of any meal I would like to cook and share with forum members here it would be Fragrant Sichuan goose, This is my plate and besides this I did another half this size.
