I have a feeling it will be super tight in the middle of the pack with a few leaders that get on a few big fish and pull away. Seeing that already with Takahiro's one 5 lber.
I made the Chris Lane mistake a few times last year. I just couldn't pass him up a few times last year.
I agree though, this is about as big a toss up as there is.
Can anyone point me in the direction of some good fishing podcasts? Would love it to be centered around bass fishing and professional angling would be a plus. What's out there???
I marshalled at Table Rock with Brent Chapman last time they were in town and asked him why they pick certain lakes over others such as Table Rock over LOZ and he said it is all about politics and money. I guess LOZ area chamber of commerce's' don't feel the benefits of bringing events like this to the area are worth it. I think that's why BASS seems to stick with a lot of the same lakes over the years.
I run a HP180 with a 115 Yamaha. Does fish pretty nice. Would really like a little more storage place. What motor is on yours and what kind of speed do you get out of it?
Good to hear...Coming down this weekend. Found some Dixie Jet;s up here in St. Louis at a local sporting goods store and looking to wear the chrome off them.
Last weekend I caught a ton of fish on a 5" PBJ zinker on a 1/8 oz screw-loc shaky head. It is a PITA to get it on the screw loc but its there, you can fish it until you break off. I caught 30+ on the same worm and they keep getting better with more fish.
Anyone who makes there own heads, there is a mold now for swinging football heads and you can make them for about $.70 a piece versus the $2.00+ at the store.
