I am no expert but my wife got me a Masterbuilt electric a few years ago. It works very well. Temperature control is great with an electric smoker, and that is very important. Window is also a nice feature.

I had a tournament fisherman tell me that he used Lemon Pledge on his Ranger. It works great. So does the generic Walmart brand. I also use McGuire's Quick Wax which works good too. My boat is 10 years old and I still get comments about how good it looks.

I have been happy with Ulrich's for engine work. I had Branson Upholstery redo my seats and they did a really nice job for me this spring.

Hello All: I put my boat in yesterday and went for a ride. I spotted this wave runner sinking and on the loose. It was by the island between 10 and 11 on the James. It belongs to someone. I have tried to download a pic but can't . Ot is a Polaris 140 with Mo# 6690 FC. Who do you notify?

I have a Lowrance 522c color GPS fishfinder that I had on my boat until I upgraded this year. It has the internal GPS and works fine. I have the power cord and a manual for a 520 series that I will include. I think $175. is a fair price but I am negotiable. Is anyone in the market? It is a nice unit but I moved up to the Gen2. Call me at 815-693-2522. I am in Reeds Spring for a few weeks. Thanks Jerry

Heading down tomorrow for the first time this year. Can't wait to get the boat in the water!

I have them on my trailer and they are ideal. I am in my 60's and they make it very easy to get into and out of the bow when I am putting it on the trailer. My boat is also a Triton Fish and Ski, 21 foot. They came on the trailer so I don't know any brand. I think they sell them at Bass Pro. I would add them if my next trailer did not come with them.

Dropped the Triton in this morning with my son in law. Watched the Bears get a lucky win and headed up to Hide Away Marina for gas. O was right, you can gas up with a credit card there. Fished a little bit and caught one on a jig. Daughter and Son in Law threw crank baits with no luck.

Last Winter, Hide Away Marina at Point 11 on the James will take a credit card with a limit of $125. I have not been up there yet this year because I just got back here yesterday. I will run up there this weekend and follow up if I am wrong. I think you can gas up there.

I just spoke with an employee of Gander Mountain who was saying it was a must. It was the first that I heard of it.

I have a 2006 225 ETEC on my Triton. I hesitated in buying it in 2009 because it was not a Merc. but the ETEC was still under warranty so I did. I had a 150 Merc for 20 years without any problems. This ETEC has also been problem free. it is quiet and efficient and fast. I am very happy with mine!

We bought in the Aunts Creek near point 10. It has gotten busy in the Summer but it is convenient to Kimberling City and to Branson and Branson West. That was a factor in our decision. Fishing is good all year round and it is easy to get anywhere by boat.

Hello All; I have been lucky enough to be here for 3 weeks and my trip is coming to an end. Today my foot pedal on the trolling motor just quit. Its a Motorguide. The motor runs on the on/off switch but none of the other controls on the pedal are working. Anybody out there have this happen to them? Can I just take the pedal in for repair? Who fixes trolling motors? Bass Pro? Thanks for any help you can be.

We have taken our chairs to the shopping center. A band will be playing and you can see it really well. I took my boat once. It was ugly getting home. I guess it depends on where you are on the lake.

I agree with you Bill; I made an appointment for my 3 year Evinrude etec service and Janet called a few days ahead to make sure that they had the correct year so they could have the parts that I needed and they could get it all done in a day. Cost was fine too. I used Sport Boat 3 years ago and it was more $$ but I did have a few more things done. It is great that they are here.

Dan's Marine in Kimberling City put a metal plate over the transom of my Ranger from the early 80's. It was an old wooden one and it was leaking water through the holes that bolted down the outboard. This was at least 10 years ago and I sold it to a neighbor and it is still doing fine as far as I know. It was not too expensive. Go see Dan
