I was always told as a kid that you should put the white stuff on your lips if they were chapped. It wouldn’t do anything for your lips but it would sure as hell keep you from licking them.🤣

Can you see individual fish as it sweeps? What unit do you use with it? Do you use the full screen?

Fishing up the Big Sac we saw around 100 pelicans. At one point a bunch flew overhead. One of them let a load go. It hit my boat midway of the port rod locker and splattered on the console, passenger’s seat, on my partner’hood, the back deck and the motor. After I had scrubbed the carpet and wet vacced it I had to spray it down with air freshener to get rid of the rotten fish smell. So be careful watching them fly.

I started a fire early this year since I have a lot of free wood. I’ve had to keep the back door partially open to be able to stay in the house. Maybe I should have waited for colder weather.

Yep. If i am spinner bating or cranking I use Auto pilot along with cruise control if the wind is up.

Do you use the jog function?

Last week I was white bass fishing some pretty windy stuff. It was hitting at about a 45° angle. I came to a spot that had a concentration of fish so I pointed the boat into the wind and set spot lock. When I was ready to move I tried out the jog function. It was great. I fished the entire bank never having to do anything except hit the jog arrow when I wanted to move. That sure made it a lot more fun.

A couple of feet maybe. Probably less with the rain. I don’t do rain so I came home.

No need for ice. I just get an injection in the shoulder every 3 months.

Got a late start today. Fished from 8:30 to 1. Spent the day in sons. 1 walleye 12 blacks and 101 whites. Water was 61°.

There may be turn over today without temps changing. That wind is rocking. 3 foot rollers are out there.

Oddly enough I didn’t have a drum today. I hope they contracted viral hemorrhagic septicemia and died out.

I can’t imagine turnover as the temp today was 59°.

Fished in the river above Rouark. Must have fished at least 4 miles of banks. 10 came from rocks. Then 5 from a straight bank. 3 from a windy cove. The rest were scattered. 23 were keepers in anybody’s book. 20 of them were as nice as I have ever seen in the fall. Doing it again tomorrow in another area.

Only in 1 cove. We must have fished a mile of banks, points and coves catching nothing.
