They came today. They are supposed to be 1/2 oz but look a lot lighter than that to me. I may paint some tomorrow.

Well I just about have it cleaned and all of the stuff back in it. I installed the new seats too.

I want to take this opportunity to shout out to Quillback and Griz for taking me fishing while my boat was being repaired. Fishing and making baits is what I do. The absence of the boat left a big hole in my calendar. Thanks again guys.

We used these crappie fishing last week to hold bullet weights above the jigs.

A cheap swivel will work just as good.

It came in yesterday. The service center checked everything out and charged the batteries. And had me go get it today. It has been there for 8 weeks and 2 days. Evidently the trailer was on a mud lot as the tires are nasty. Everything else is dusty. I’d be ashamed to post pics before I clean it up. However, the hull seems pristine and that was the major factor.

I got an update this morning. My boat is finished. It should be back in Springfield this afternoon or tomorrow morning. The will do an inspection of everything to make sure all is working then call me. Now if we can get a weather break in January.

Well since this has long ago gone south, frogging for those green jumpers was always done with a 22 rifle. Shoot them from across the pond in the throat so they flop backwards onto the bank. No rags or fairy wands needed and no hooks to remove.

On the way out a couple of guys stopped me while a tree was fallen in the road. Those guys are doing some serious tree cutting.
