76-77° on my birds below Cape. It was nice to finally see the ramp and parking lot open.

I’m not a tech for sure. All I can do is relate what my small engine guy told me. I have a snow blower which sometimes goes for a couple of years without being started and a couple of generators. He said to use Sea Foam in them. I do and top off with fresh gasoline before I use them.

Jeff met me around 06:30 this morning. We fished down lake. We used jigs, C rigs, several different shaly worms and Zman ZinkerZs shaky style. The only thing that we could catch fish using was the Zman worms. We caught them on several colors but Coppertruse was the best today. We had several good solid fish but most were just shy of 15”. We only had 3 keeper largemouth but wound up catching 25. It was very cloudy and misty. It got breezy around mid day. They bit pretty good for an east wind.

When I had a 2 stroke 2002 Opti, I used 87 octane with ethanol. My comes by tech said he was seeing fuel line damage and clogged injectors so I had Billy Cooper at Son Sac Marine replace the old ones with the new ones that were supposed to be impervious to ethanol to divert any issues. I haven’t heard of any issues with ethanol lately. Personally I use 91 ethanol free gasoline.

The skins are bitter but the insides are very sweet. I think they are better after the first frost.

I doubt that. I have tied thousands of jigs with the whip but this situation was different.

In order to make it work for me I had to imagine my hand as the whip finisher. Then it was easy peasy. I have been experimenting with tying umbrella skirts on some of my Stockton smallmouth jigs. The whip finisher just didn’t get the job done.

I generally thread tie jigs with a whip finisher however I am in a situation where they won’t work. The hook is out instead of the jig head. What kind of hand knot should I use and how to tie it please.

It’s there. I have this uncanny ability to find it with my jigs every time I fish down there.

I’m not sure he has to be on drugs. If you were to research him you would find a former Marine, a former soldier in the army, a missionary, a womanizer, and a college graduate just to mention a few things that I remember.

My wife’s cousin is in the business. We were at their house a couple of weeks ago. I asked about their solar situation. They said that when they over produced it went into the grid but at the rate that the company could purchase electricity from other companies not at the rate that they charge customers. He said not great but better than nothing.

It was a hint of fall today. The temp was great. Most of the fish that I caught were caught on Shaky using the custom rod that rps built for me. Thanks Randy. Thanks for the invite Jeff.

Over here the mail doesn’t get done every day, and when it comes it can be anywhere from 09:00 to 4:30.
