I think there is a delicate balance between the perfect top water rod that you can make pin point casts with, and one strong enough to get the hooks buried. I always am a little on edge trying to land a big bass on a WTD bait.
I would normally agree with that statement but the body shape is a little longer with less height from belly to dorsal...maybe just not fat enough yet. I'm probably wrong
Fishing a river makes you realize where fish usually reside, which is fairly predicable. Lake fishing however is much harder IMHO, the fish have an additional 3D effect (suspending) that river fish don't have. River fish are only about 2 1/2D at best. There aren't many rivers I fish over 10-12 ft deep.
Have never had my butt kicked so bad on a river, but in a lake it happens often.
I just wished outboards were as as reliable as my old 283 chevy motor. Nothing worse than wanting to go on a much needed fishing trip and not being able to seal the deal because of the motor.
Yep, Seve was a rugged individualist, maybe John Daly, a little. Lot of flat bills now.
Equally annoying Joe, are the usual ESPN dorks who are all the Kapernick enabler crowd. 100% partisan. Puke puke.
