Even though it makes the wake worse, I still try to slow down when encountering a canoer or kayaker. At least they know you respect them. But sometimes I wish they would show equal respect, like not standing in the only spot to go upstream and not getting out of the way. It's tough, but I've only encountered 2 or 3 people in my life that acted like jerks. Most people will act right when giving them the benefit of the doubt.

X2 on the avocado green. When whirlpool bought out Norge, they changed it to kind of what I would call a snow pea color and totally ruined it. If you can find a "Pre Whirpool" model Norge, you should hold on to it.

A noteworthy thing from yesterday was Aarons big spotted bass spit out a huge crawfish during the fight that was actually still alive, and swam away in panic mode.

Those wings look Yummi! Not sure what do you mean by roasting the asparagus in very hot Olive oil? You heat the Oil before you coat the asparagus and put them in the oven? i usually just coat the asparagus with oil and salt and pepper them, place them in the oven at about 400 for 20 minutes or so.
