You're the second person today to suggest this. This is impossible with my current injector. The only way to accomplish that is to re-dip the middle with harder material, or put a clear sleeve around the bait. I know they also make rubber band gadgetry to wacky rig them.
I just purchased a Senko mold and created my first 2-color patterns. It's kind of an ultra clear water baitfish pattern. Top is green pumpkin and bottom is silver pearl with tiny gold flakes and a couple of drops of blue. The bait is very translucent.
I know most like pearl white or green pumpkin for a solid color, but what do you guys recommend for a two color Senko?
Water temps and clarity play a big role. If it's murky, spinnerbaits and crankbaits, or even a well placed jig. Clear water....I would go with jigs, flukes, Ned, Jerk baits, or topwater if the temps are over 55 or so.
Harris, I've watched you post for several years. I'm trying to figure out why you never catch fish? I think your pulling our leg!
If your not, you need to try something different. Are you just standing on the bank and throwing a lure out in the current in some non descript spot? Are you sitting in a lawn chair fishing with Rod holders? What lures are you using?
I use a version of that, but I usually wait till the water temps are in the high 30's before I'll even go out. You are thinking outside the box, which is good!
