  1. Try Sea Breeze astringent from Walgreens. I had them last month and it worked pretty well
  2. Sounds like a real "Kodak" moment I think I once read a list of the worst bee attack scenarios and both lists indicated that Yellow Jackets were the worst because of the quantity. About 10 years ago my father was bush hogging on our pasture and stepped off the tractor to kick a stump out of the way, immediately followed by my mom looking out the window out to see my 80 year old dad running across the pasture with his hat off swatting bees! scary! I think he got something like 30 hits. Glasses are a pain in the butt.... however for your profession, the ability to see at macro focus is so crucial that I understand why you don't get LASIK. You could always get the one eye LASIK Like I had and take a few months for your brain to adjust, but once it's done there's no going back. In that case it may not be worth the risk.
  3. Love the PBR and the cigars! looks like very much fun!
  4. Great post Scott! All you are doing is developing a future fishing partner to take you out when you get old! Smart
  5. Wish I could go! This weather is sent from heaven!
  6. Things are getting better, maybe not enough to suit some, but they are getting better. However no matter what we do India and China will take decades to conform. I don't have much faith in anything fixing the problem though.
  7. No doubt, thanks for understanding. I think you could read between the lines where I'm coming from.
  8. Read his post Knuck, I know how the stories going to end
  9. No offense, but I don't like this mentality...., sure we were put on this earth to be good keepers and failed the mission. But are not people more important than the earth?
  10. Just put one of your hives in the car with the windows down....no one will mess with your vehicle.
  11. My all time favorite was Woody Guthrie, didn't necessarily agree with his politics but he was so darn good. He wasn't a great guitar player or singer but his lyrics were the best I've ever heard. They were always truthful and based on his experiences. You can't make up something that good without actually being there.
  12. Wheeeeeeooooouuuuuuu.........Mr Breeze!
  13. Please translate to English! what is doodle socking?
  14. I would love to do it again, maybe stay away from the Strawberry and concentrate on the others. Even add a couple!
  15. A little bit of diplomacy on both sides goes a long way...Dart doesn't get killed and Crocker doesn't spend the next 5-10 years in jail. I have to wonder what that Crocker was doing walking around in the woods on a busy Saturday on the river? Making sure no one would mess with his gravel bar? Sounds like he was laying and waiting for someone to screw up so he could run them off.
  16. Yep Old Plug, them little kids are wizards at it!
  17. Alcohol is a strange thing, makes me mellow and want to hug everybody. I've seen others turn into Mr. Hyde after about 3-4 drinks. So in the engineering terms of my Asian teacher...The Wisk Weward Watio is not good!
  18. The proper thing to do.... Catch more flys with honey than vinegar!
  19. Get tapatalk for the iPhone, or if you have a PC, just sign in and attach a file to your post
  20. Just lay them down on the deck of your River Pro next to a measuring device
  21. Can't wait to see a rod and reel in his hands! Congratulations!!
  22. Thought Phil was against this kind of dribble
  23. Had the river been falling quickly? Could have turned off the bite. I'm sure more than one of us have seen instances when you literally bumped a lure on the fish's head and they wouldn't take it.
  24. http://www.ksdk.com/news/local/story.aspx?storyid=389380
  25. Absolutely perfect pics! But I wondering about tromping thru the various places I'm looking at and I'm thinking CHIGGERS! Do you have any up there?
