It doesn’t take a talented fisherman to go to a secret creek and catch 20” smallmouth. I could give my 5 year old a whopper plopper and she could do it. Now these kids are making money doing it on YouTube. Drives me fruit actually to see them expose the creeks. Oh well, they all want to be YouTube stars.

Back in the 80’s I worked at McDonnell Douglas and we had a pretty cool archery club. We actually had a thru the woods shooting range and had quite a few members. One year we invited Olympic Archery Champion Darrell Pace to one of our shoots as an honored guest. I wasn’t there that day but my buddies told me that they brought Darrell around the range to do a kind of celebrity shoot. He, of course, was used to shooting standard yardages. They say he failed miserably... After that, they went thru the course a second time, except this time they gave him the exact yardage for each target. They said you couldn’t fit your finger in between his arrow and the bullseye 🎯 on every target. Just like everything else it’s all about consistency and repeatability.
