    shoot, there arent enough trout in there to sustain stripers for more than a day or two. that river has more crawfish in it than any river I have ever seen though

    they go up the lake to north fork of the white and decimate the crawfish

    If I remember correctly, the mercury 25s use a pin that twists then pulls out.

    thats a great idea. if you want to boondock, Check out the 11pt, there are primitive campsites there and you can take kayaks and fish. also down here in arkansas there are plenty of rv places around the buffalo river and sylamore creek

    Unfortunately legality and case law dont mean anything when someone crazy shoots you dead. TBH I can't decide if your stupid or insane for laughing at anyone who shot like that. ***edit*** when the guy mentioned target practice, your FIRST instinct should be to get the hell out of there, not record.

    Min flow is the best thing to happen to the river ever. Its good for the fish, good for boaters(with a jet), and waders. lately they have been sticking more or less to projected discharge from the SWPA page.

    even though the fishing wasn't great, that will for sure go down as one of my most memorable fishing trips.

    He was very friendly the whole trip. I feel very lucky that we just happened to be there at the same time.
